Enjoy the delicious combination of flavors wrapped in crisp lettuce leaves.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground turkey. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2 tbsp sesame oil. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tbsp sriracha sauce. 1 tbsp rice vinegar. 1 tbsp honey. 1 tsp grated ginger. 1/4 cup water chestnuts, chopped. 1/4 cup green onions, chopped. 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped. 1 head butter lettuce, leaves separated.
Instructions: Over medium-low heat, brown the ground turkey in a skillet, breaking it up into pieces as it cooks. Get rid of extra fat. Soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, ginger, garlic powder, sriracha sauce, and rice vinegar should all be mixed together in a small bowl. Add the browned turkey to the slow cooker. Then, pour the sauce mixture over it and stir it all together. Set the heat to low and let it cook for four to five hours. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the water chestnuts, green onions, and cilantro. Wrap the turkey mixture in lettuce leaves and serve them that way.
