This Teriyaki Turkey Stir Fry is a quick and flavorful weeknight dinner that's packed with protein and vegetables. The teriyaki sauce adds a sweet and savory glaze to the tender turkey and crisp-tender vegetables.
Ingredients: 1 lb turkey breast, thinly sliced. 2 cups mixed vegetables bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, snap peas. 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon ginger, minced. Salt and pepper to taste. Cooked rice or noodles for serving.
Instructions: Heat one tablespoon of vegetable oil in a big skillet or wok over high heat. When the turkey is no longer pink, add the sliced pieces to the hot skillet and stir-fry for two to three minutes. After taking the turkey out of the skillet, set it aside. Add the final tablespoon of vegetable oil to the same skillet. Add the ginger and garlic, minced, and saut for 30 seconds or so, or until fragrant. When the mixed vegetables are crisp-tender, add them to the skillet and stir-fry for three to four minutes. Place the cooked turkey and vegetables back in the skillet. Cover the turkey and veggies with the teriyaki sauce. Stir-fry for two more minutes to let the sauce get thicker and evenly coat everything. To taste, add salt and pepper for seasoning. Serve the hot teriyaki turkey stir fry with noodles or cooked rice. Savor your tasty and quick weeknight meal!
