12.6.2014 In transit at Hamad International Airport. I met Liz at the holding area for people who needed wheelchair assistance. (Disclaimer, there were no signs there indicating it’s an exclusive area!!!) We got chased away and went on a hunt for the supposed “quiet room”, failed once again. The airport people kept giving us wrong directions hahaha. We gave up. And hey! There are chairs outside the gates! ;p Lying on the floor right now cause we’re too tired. Liz and I took the same flight from Singapore. She was there for a day only though, the end of her 2 month South East Asia trip. She lives in Bristol, graduated last year and is currently a relief teacher for primary school students! It’s a pity though, she wanted to teach at some Cambodian community but it didn’t work out. She’s flying back to London later to meet her boyfriend and go for another trip to an Island in Africa! ;D We shared our stories and adventures, which certainly made my almost 8-hour long wait a lot better!
