Its been almost 4 months since i came back to Singapore from my 2-month Turkey trip, and much regrets cause i failed to blog about that very exciting and enriching trip due to the convenience of Instagram. I met lots of amazing people that helped me along the way and many of them that i still keep in contact with.
Today I came across a friend's blog post on "What no one tells you about traveling." Here's my immediate response:
My favourite part about traveling’s meeting new friends, but leaving them or seeing them leave is also the hardest for me. I don’t think I can ever get used to this. And even though I still keep in contact with those that I share deeper connections with, Facebook, whatsapp or Skype is never really enough. I always have the urge to go back and visit them, but there are just too many places in the world I want to go to right now!
Right now there's this huge mesh of random thoughts about traveling, meeting people, the way i travel blahblahblah; that will take some time for me to sort them out. I should really start writing down all of these (NEW YEAR RESOLUTION).
Also, I'm heading to Sri Lanka, New York and Orlando soon. I know its usually the other way around, but if you're curious about the people i met in Turkey or my upcoming travels, follow me on Instagram @jiialiinggg
Till the next time i feel like blogging!
