2yrs ago, I wrote a book. Last year I sold it! That was pretty cool. And then my publisher was like “Hey, wanna write a prequel?” and I thought, “Why not?” so I did.

And then, right after Turning Pointe, came Second Position, the book I wrote a few years ago. It features a mentally ill heroine (anorexia, anxiety, depression) trying to recover and a physically disabled hero (amputee). It takes place four years after Turning Pointe so when you’re like WHAT at the end of TP, just move right along to this one! It contains therapy, banter, a little bit of ballet, and little bit of sex.

And then I wrote a sequel. Finding Center tore out my heart, in a good way. It just came out on Monday and it’s been really well received so far (so I hope you like it too, but it’s OK of course if you don’t!). It’s about what comes after the Happily Ever After. It’s about ballet companies and the pressure on professional dancers and figuring out a relationship that is full of love but not perfection. It’s about taking risks, even if we don’t know how we’re going to land.
