can you imagine older atreus growing out a beard for months and then shaving it all off one day, and when little hel sees him she's terrified & starts to cry because she has never seen him without a beard. hel is thinking 'who is this guy??? not my dad!! HELP ME MOTHER THERE IS A STRANGER IN FRONT OF ME!!' (i have seen so many videos of babies not recognizing their fathers after they've shaved their facial hair aksldkskfkwksl)
