Let me spin you a tale amongst tonight’s political babble that actually made me the most angry of all; Tumblr user turntechtier posted her honest opinion that she wished her dash wasn’t completely feminism tonight, and what did she get? A staggering amount of nasty anonymous hate.
Her exact quote was "im all for feminism, but i dont want it to be the only thing on my dash, u feel me?" People have sent her messages on her Tumblr to the extent of calling her horrible things, with words frequenting "cunt" and "bitch" and it's to the point where she had to remove herself from her own account and hand it over to her boyfriend things were that bad. TUMBLR ARE YOU ACTUALLY KIDDING ME? God forbid someone voices an opinion that isn't what you want to hear. I, too, dislike my dash being 100% this current topic. I go on Tumblr to laugh and get away from stress, and feel happy, and I came online tonight to find the exact opposite. Tumblr is all proud of itself for the strong feminism tonight, but something needs to be done about it's reception of differing opinions.
