that fibro feel
leg: has an itch
me: scratches leg to relieve the itch
leg: is now in horrific crippling pain for two hours
me: ????
When you have a day out, and chronic fatigue kicks in.
Honestly people who are undiagnosed are so badass like when I wake up every day with lung pain at least I can be like oh CF is getting me again, but they get up everyday like well this is what weâre doing. And at least I know that my condition is killing me slowly and can expect such but they have no idea of what theyâre experiencing is chronic or treatable or fatal. Thatâs balls man.
hint: if a person with clinical depression and anxiety says theyre tired âŚ. dont tell them they have no reason to be âŚ. bc guess whatâŚ.. They Know and Its Shitty
Louder!!!
I just want to add one thing-
If you have depression or anxiety? youâre not tired for no reason.
Youâre tired because you have depression/anxiety.
Not only do they both come with low energy/fatigue as a legit common side effect, but theyâre both fucking /exhausting/. fighting your brain all the time? exhausting. adrenaline crashes from anxiety/panic attacks? exhausting. being on edge all the time? exhausting. plus doing things costs /more/ energy when you have those mental illnesses.
Youâre not tired for no reason, youâre tied because you have an illness that makes you tired.
during this massive resurgence in star wars hype, iâd like to remind you all that one of the people youâre idolizing - Carrie Fisher - has bipolar disorder. donât you ever forget that. we are everywhere, we can do great things even while we struggle, we are important, and we deserve to be recognized as such.
For real. I also love that sheâs talking about it during interviews and panels, and when people bring up her dog like heâs a fun quirky pet on set, sheâs very quick to remind them no, heâs a service dog, he helps her to function.
Also her book Wishful Drinking is hilarious and heartbreaking as she talks about her life and her problems with addiction (which arose as an attempt to self medicate), and Shockaholic continues on in a very frank manner as she talks about how her problems almost lost her custody of her daughter Billie, as well as her life, and how sheâs finally found a treatment (electric shock therapy) which is helping her, but also eradicating chunks of her memory. To paraphrase her âsheâs losing her mind to stop herself from losing her mindâ.
Sheâs abrasively sharp, witty and frankly hilarious, even when sheâs talking about heartbreaking subjects. And yet thereâs still fuckers out there talking about how much sheâs let herself go over the years and how she should make more effort if sheâs gonna be Princess Leia again, and they have no idea, no idea how much effort she puts in to staying alive every day, let alone staying functional and appearing in a movie franchise as big and overwhelming as Star Wars.
Everyone characterizes Leia as this profoundly strong and enduring character. But the character of Leia has got nothing on Carrie Fisher.
Carrie Fisher explains to a little boy what âbipolarâ means, at Indiana Comic Con 2015.
I love her so much.
I will always reblog this because itâs the best description of bi-polar I have EVER seen. (Especially to people who donât understand what mania means. You arenât HAPPY, youâre very fast.) It was SO important to 15-year-old me to learn that PRINCESS LEIA (whose hair I have envied since age 7, btw) was bi-polar.
she is so good and i love her so much, and so so much for TALKING about everything so frankly. (without losing an ounce of her humor).
donât check up on people who have decided you are not in their picture anymore. you donât need to know how theyâre doing. save yourself the trouble, seriously.
Needed this today
A mistake repeated more than once is a decision.

Emotionally abusive people fucking suck because they act like theyâre the victims and that theyâre the nicest person in the world. They make you feel like utter crap and make it nearly impossible for you to prove that youâre the actual victim.
He is not a bad person for not being in love with me anymore. To say it out loud. To mean it. To know it, true as a toothache. To remember how badly I wanted to have it back, your love. How hard I fought. But in the end, how even I knew. Like how trees know to let go of their leaves, that nothing can stop the winter.

Never run back to what broke you.
Remember this, no matter how much you think going back will make you whole again, no matter how hard it is and the courage it takes, do not look back on your past, you canât re write the ending. (via im-sad-lets-have-sex)
Unfortunately Iâm the type of person that you can screw over 1 million times and I would still be there for you if you needed me.

ONE TWEET. THIS FIT IN ONE TWEET. IF YOU FUCK IT UP YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE.
So much of this. An apology is NOT âIâm sorry BUT hereâs why Iâm totally in the right and think I did nothing wrong.â
happy thursday, everyone (:
Canât even express with words how much this post resonates with me right now.
