If the turtles are humans in your AU, that's mean April is a mutant turtle?

Sure! Why not!? 

(I haven’t actually decided much more on my human!Rottmnt universe, I should get on that….)

What kind of turtle is turtle!April? And does she meet the boys?

April is an Asian Box turtle! 

And yes, she does meet the boys! 

She met them the same as in the show, when they were younger and she was around 9 years of age. 

After the release of the Oozesquitoes, April helped try to capture them with the brothers, only to get caught up in a Foot clan attack and ultimately getting caught off guard and bitten herself - mutating into a turtle much like her friends. 

Luckily with them at her side to support her, she adjusted and lives with them in the lair, often returning to her apartment to slowly gather her things and of course Mayhem. 

Like as a human, April is smaller than the brothers, similar in size and height to Mikey. As the smallest, they often play pranks together on the others and are the sneakiest and most acrobatic of the group.

Quick doodle of Turtle April, based on the ADORABLE AU created by hotmilkytea and snuffes! :D Goodness, I haven't used colored pencils in forever! And I apologize for the cop-out orange lines that I drew as a quick attempt at a "background". XD About to head to work, so I scribbled those in really fast! I hope this looks ok, snuffes and hotmilkytea! Keep up the great work! :D
