So, this post about the last day of Iron Marble was going to be gracious about the fact that even though none of my teams podiumed, at least two of my favorites made it to the final round, but never mind any of that, because apparently one of the last marbles to cross the final finish line is named Frank.

Did not notice until Greg said their name as they crossed. I'm sorry to any Franks out there reading this. But all the other marbles have thematic names and whatnot, and then there's Frank.

We also salute the winners and podium-sitters of the 2025 Showdown, who prove that not qualifying doesn't mean you can't have a great season.

The Shining Swarm take the highest step after winning the Showdown Sand Rally with a dominant race from Shimmer, the team's legendary rallyist. The Sliders just miss out after two winning performances in Funnels and Sand Moguls from Shelly and Crush respectively. Meanwhile, last year's Showdown 16th-placers the Indigo Stars make a triumphant comeback into 3rd with a strong Funnels and Sand Moguls showing from Indie and Montoya respectively.

These teams will look to qualify next year, and hope that their Showdown podiums can bring them some rightful recognition when the time comes.

My dearest Turtle Sliders have been eliminated, and now I'm choosing the teams to cheer for the rest of the Marble survival 100.

I'm always affectionate to Minty Maniacs, I fancy Bumblebees, I think that Snowballs are the cutest. I'm also graviting towards Limers, for the first time; they're cool!

Guess which teams are falling more and more at the end of the classification?

I'm always more convinced that Turtle sliders are my team. They are good playing alone and definitely incapable of playing as a team... And I just love them more than ever

This year the Showdown left us with the greater suspense!

My beloved Turtle Sliders rise up on third position after a very weak start (I believe in you), Team Plasma continues to win everything (you are creating high expectations for the next season), and Snowballs... I've never been a fan of monocromatic marbles, but they are just perfect little snowballs and I love them more every time that they roll :3

For the first time I can't wait to see the results of the Showdown
