As temperatures swing, sea turtle rescue season continues. With more than 300 found alive so far, our rescuers are busy treating the sickest turtles and stabilizing others for transport to partner organizations around the country. Many thanks to all the volunteers and rescuers working to save sea turtles!

Bernard has joined #teamrescue! 🐶 He was barking and barking, which is pretty normal for him, but he wouldn't stop. 😮 So I went over to see what he was doing and he had found a turtle stuck in a hole. This pretty lady came to our Giant Ocean Tank through our sea turtle rescue program. 30 years ago, rescuers treating Retread for cold-stunning discovered that she was blind—possibly due to damage to her eyes from the cold-stunning—and couldn't be returned to the wild. So she's been comfortably napping, swimming, and eating square meals of squid and capelin hand-fed by divers ever since!

Heading home from the New England Aquarium in Boston with the squad, tasha-the-duck, rosie-chan77, and the-jackalope-knows-all! We spent a wicked long time at the shark and Ray touch tank. I touched a really cool shark. It felt like sandpaper, whereas the rays felt like touching a wet mushroom.
