Intro, like all the cool kids

Hello! I am doing this because I am trying to organise my blog and boy howdy is that an ordeal. So, Hello! Name’s Turtle. They/Them please and thanks!

I write tickle stuff and I am desperately trying to get back into the rhythm of it!

Okay I just cannot stop thinking about this! I have to get this out of my system as, for unknown reasons, I just don’t fancy writing it right this moment. I cannot stop thinking about one of the sides learning what tickling is.

I immediately thought back to oliviaischilling1204′s fic Teach Me How. Like just a part 2 about Remus deciding he wants to know just how these tickles feel! For some reason my brain has proper latched on to Remus learning tickles. 

Like I imagine it being a similar situation. They’re just all cosy in bed for a lazy day or maybe they just woke up. 

Remus suddenly lurches up with a manic grin and pounces on to Logan’s lap.

Logan without looking up from his book : Yes dear?

Remus: I wanna be tickled! I know you like it so much and it looks fun and surely I could know how to better tickle you if you tickle me!

Logan instantly blushing and stuttering.

He’s so used to keeping his interest to himself that any talk of tickling just gets to him immediately. Instant lee mood. 

But he has to be the ler.

Logan: Uh I-I mean... you m-may not like it? I will happily I mean Yeah. I don’t mind t-tic- doing that with you.

Remus: YES!

Logan:... do you want to get off my lap and I’ll sit on your lap?

Now Remus is super chill about this and is lying there with an expectant look. But this alone is super flustering for Logan. Look at his adorable boyfriend being all adorable asking for tickles so he can do his adorable giggles. 

BUT ALSO! Like Logan can’t do this! He’s too lee! Remus is just sitting there without even flinching or smiling or even shielding his tickly spots. 

What do you expect him to do! Just instantly start tickling! 

Logan starts gently tracing around Remus’ feet.

I love the idea of them starting with a spot that just isn’t ticklish on Remus so he’s instantly disappointed. 

Remus: Wait this is what tickling is like? This is nothing! Man you’re useless on your feet. You get all giggly and scrunchy. This only feels like a little tingly! Man you must be the most ticklish person al-

Logan- huSH YOUR MOUTH

Logan explains, again, that not everyone is the same and so he just must not be ticklish on his feet. So he turns and starts at his little ol’ belly. 

Remus then instantly perked up and tightened everything

Uh oh

Welp... that tickles.

Remus obviously starts giggling and he honestly tries with all his strength not to flinch but he ends up like holding hands with Logan.

Logan now just appreciates his gorgeous understanding boyfriend. What a doofus.

Remus: It’s kinda a lot but I can see why you like this! Like I want to run away but like it’s nice to laugh. It’s like a panic laugh! It’s new! Tickling’s fun! It just tickles! It’s like it’s own thing! Tickle... tickle

He said that all while violently giggling.

Logan is dying on the spot from the beauty of his boyfriend but also does he really need to keep repeating that word like he’s trying to tease himself!

I then also like the idea of him getting to a super tickly spot on Remus and him just exploding.

All signs of giggly happy exploring Remus disappears into him instantly begging for mercy.

Remus: OK! TICKLING IS A LOT! THIS TICKLES! OKAY THIS TICKLES! WAIT LO THIS TICKLES! LO! MERCY! PLEASE! IT TICKLES! I TAKE IT BACK! BEING TICKLED ISN’T EASY! LO!

Remus had been gloating this whole time how much of a baby Logan is for not being able to take tickling but now... he gets it. 

They end the session concluding that yep, tickling is weird! Remus isn’t as much of a lee, he doesn’t mind being tickled jokingly or tickle fights but he doesn’t think he’ll fully enjoy a tickle session like Logan.

1. Who has the cutest tickle laugh?

I feel like I’m giving the exact same answer for this question but god dammed! Of course they would absolutely adore each other’s laughs! Roman has grown used to faking a laugh and just acting happier than he really is about whatever is happening. So to break through that and hear some genuine happy loud laughter makes Janus’ day! He especially loves when he’s stopped tickling and Roman keeps giggling minutes after. His giggles are just so sweet and joyful but the fact they’ll die down and then he’ll burst into laughter all over again despite not tickling him anymore!

But Janus makes a very big deal out of only evil cackling and when he’s with the others, he tends to only act serious and quiet. So to see him alone, frantically giggling and out loud key smashing when Roman wiggles his fingers at him! His loud belly laughter is the best of course but there is a special part of his heart that is reserved for Janus’ hissy giggles!

2. Who is ticklish in unusual places and where would that be?

Not really an unusual place but I cannot stress enough just how weak to leg tickles Janus truly is. He’s snek! Sneks don’t have legs! And so that means Janus’ has the most ticklish legs ever. It’s not a death spot or anything but everything from his knees to his calves to his thighs are incredibly ticklish! One big long tickly spot! Roman’s favourite thing in this entire world is when Janus wears his skirt (cough cough, I’m waiting mr Sanders) and that leaves his legs vulnerable to attack. He could be walking to the kitchen and he knows it’s only a matter of time when he’ll feel Roman attack his legs with a feather duster. 

3. Who gets cheer-up tickles?

Roman, absolutely. Janus recognises early on just how much work and effort Roman puts into everything he does and a lot of it is criticised or outright denied. Roman at first doesn’t see this at all. “It’s my job, of course I’m going to get turned down. Why would an essential part of my job upset me?” but Janus puts his foot down. After an idea is turned down, regardless of how much work it was, and sits him down for a self care session. Janus will pull him into his lap to receive all the tickles and kisses. Then after he’s all tuckered out, Janus will paint his nails. Eventually, Roman looks forward to having a hard day’s work rewarded with tickles and a soft session with his soft snakey boyfriend. 

4. Who takes advantage of the other one getting their arms stuck while taking off their shirt?

Janus is always targeted. His cape makes it harder to tickle his sides and even his tummy because Janus will absolutely curl up into a protected fortress of cape. So Roman has to pick his moments where he’s truly vulnerable. A perfect moment for that is when he’s getting dressed. The only problem is that Roman thinks he’s being sneaky but Janus knows exactly what Roman does. He has woken up before shouting “Oh wait! Are you changing yet! Wait, wait, wait! I need to get into place!” while he scrambled out of bed and perched like a pouncing kitten right behind him. Janus knows exactly why Roman targets him in the morning and if he takes a little bit longer to get dressed or be noisy so to wake up Roman, then that’s for his information. 

5. How did they discover each other’s ticklishness?

I feel like it would be early on in their relationship, or maybe before they started dating, Janus declared who could only date someone who he knew all of the weaknesses of. Roman who was just sitting there eating a breakfast bar is just like... okay? So he lists off allergies or just stuff he doesn’t like and eventually they work round to the question of “are you ticklish and if so where can make you cry?”. Janus then obviously has to doublecheck that he wasn’t lying. Of course.

In comparison, I really like the idea of Roman just presuming Janus isn’t ticklish for the longest time ever. Especially since Janus is more ticklish than Roman. I just really like the idea of Roman being gently tickled and him making some remark about how lucky Janus is for not being ticklish. But as he says that, he jokingly tickles over his knee. Resulting in a squealing Janus jumping fifteen feet in the air. I just like the exact opposites for their ticklishness.

6. Who can’t take tickle bites?

Roman but that’s only because Janus is the master. Again, he’s snek! Sneks are great are tickly nibbles! What’s even better is that Roman literally never expects it! There’s never anything that sets it off. He’s never particularly vulnerable but he still manages to strike! He’ll be lying in bed sleepily and then all of a sudden his boyfriend is buried under the covers attacking his belly. He’s making dinner and then an arm turns off the oven and tickly nibbles are kissing up and down his neck. Sometimes, Roman thinks Janus just likes having something to nibble on as they will be sitting there and he’ll nibble gently on his wrist before diving for his sides. 

7. Who has to be tickle-forced out of bed in the morning?

Janus. Both of them get up at a similar time but it’s during winter when the evil snek boi wants to sleep for 30 hours a day. To make it worse, Janus wraps up during winter, fluffy socks, five blankets and two pairs of pjs on at the same time- he thinks he’s completely safe from all and any tickles. Surely, right? Welp no! Roman is too determined to ever let that stop him! Every day he has to find a new way to penetrate the fortress of warm to wake him up. Sometimes he’ll tickle the palm of his hand, sometimes his little sock covered feet are peaking from the covers, the best days are when he can gently peel away the blankets and get access to a little scaley tummy. 

8. Who gives up in a tickle fight?

Listen... unstoppable force meets unmovable rock. Janus is way too evil to be defeated, do you not see his cape! Roman is way too noble of a hero to accept defeat, do you not see all his princeliness! Who gives up during the tickle fights is Virgil who just wants a peaceful morning and he storms into their room to break up the tickle fight. Both of them are crying with laughter as Roman squeezes his knees and Janus’ hands are stuck under Roman’s arms. Neither of them have the breath to tease or appreciate each other’s laugh. Good vs evil and it turns out both of them are too stubborn and ticklish for tickle fights.

9. Who is in danger of getting hurt when attacking the other?

Janus but getting hurt doesn’t happen often. His scales can be quite sensitive and so it’s easy to irritate them or leave angry red scratch marks. Of course, this results in Roman gently brushing over his scales which is so so so much more ticklish than it should ever be. In terms of when attacking the other, I’d say neither? Roman is aware of his strength and takes pride in how long he can sit there and just take the tickles. Janus simply squirms but when it gets too much his fight or flight response just shouts at him to turn into a snake and disappear up Princey’s sleeve. 

10. Who always provokes the other into tickling them and how?

Roman but I don’t think he realises. If I haven’t made it obvious by now, I’m in love with himbo Roman. I just love the idea of Roman loving tickles and unknowingly provoking tickles. In his mind he just thinks that people love tickling him a lot. He has no idea how walking into the living room wearing a crop top while stretching his arms over his head would ever provoke tickles. So what? He’s just walking around muttering away to himself about how his feet itch but he’s too ticklish to itch it. Why are you blushing so hard Janus? I’m just laying in your lap so my bare belly is sitting by your hands.

okay here’s some random ideas that have haunted me and so here’s this nonsense:

Tickle-Me-Emo

I know this isn’t in canon but really... like it’s a pretty good Roman-esque nickname for Virgil.

but also... the potential

(I swear every idea of mine just starts with them all waking up but nothing compares so...)

Like Virgil sleepily walks into the kitchen and starts the kettle. 

Roman calls him the nickname as a greeting.

Only for inspiration to immediately strike!

“Tickle-me-Emo! Ah that’s brilliant of me! Because that’s really you, huh Virge? A little cute teddy bear who just wants hugs and tickles!”

Virgil did not need to be attacked like this, this early.

Roman starts hugging him and pulling him into his chest while gently scribbling down his sides.

He’s not really restraining him but rather letting Virgil giggle and thrash around. Virgil is mostly just squirming around but never actually breaking free from the relaxed grip, probably because he’s weak from just waking up and totally not because this is fun. 

Then Patton enters the chat.

“Aw, Ro! Stop hogging the tickle-me-emo! I wanna tickle him! It’s my turn!” He childishly whines while pouting.

Roman lights up and Virgil starts spluttering and blushing harder.

“No I wanna tickle him some more! I didn’t even get to get his little tummy!”

Virgil now just stops fighting and tries to curl up in a ball as Roman starts tickling him all over.

“Logan! Tell him it’s my turn for the tickle-me-emo!” 

Logan tuts and walks up to them all. 

Hands on his hips.

So serious.

“Now now, really? Such a childish fight. You can both share the tickle-me-emo,” He explains like he’s explaining how 1+1=2. 

Virgil squeals some semblance of the word ‘no’ before all three of them start talking about their favourite parts of the tickle-me-emo while tickling him to pieces.

“Aw the best spot is definitely his tummy!”

“A bold choice Pat but you were never good enough to unlock the potential of his neck and armpits.”

Virgil is melting but also this is the most fun morning he’s ever had.

Like this is all a spin on the whole idea of a tickle toy, just more literally.

Okay this one I’m not too sure. I still want to vent about it but also I don’t watch anime and so don’t really get the tropes... and this is indeed an anime trope. Oh well!

Catboy Virgil

Okay I get that I’m late to this trend but just c’mon! This idea came out of nowhere and I have to share this!

Now imagine a little cute kitty boy Virgil with little ears and perhaps a flickering tail. 

(this has nothing to do with anything but I just can’t get over the image of Patton using cat toys on Virgil because they’re worried he’s too lazy and him trying to get a moody Virgil to look at the bright feathers. Like that’s just so funny to me. A fully grown man to another fully grown man being like “look, ooh! It’s shiny and gasp! It just moved! Do you wanna chase it!”)

They are messing about with cat toys, I can’t decide but either Virgil is totally uninterested or completely enraptured. 

If he was uniterested then I can totally see the others wiggling around a feathery toy near him, and they keep waving it closer to him as if that would make it better. Then! It’s brushing across the tops of his feet and Virgil screeches out ticklish laughs. 

If he was enraptured then I totally love the idea of him accidentally tickling himself. Like he’s jumping around after it and once he got it in his grasp then he kinda smooshes his face against it like cats do and it ends up tickling under his chin.

Discovery!

Then it’s immediately followed by tickling the snot out of the anxious little kitty with all his fancy cat toy feathers. 

Virgil doesn’t even try to like run away but weakly bats at it and just squirms around on the spot.

The others are then told and it becomes catboy Virgil’s favourite game!

He loves his tickles by his family!

Just laying around and having them all tickle him with feathers and toys making him feel childish but also just getting to have fun and laugh with his family.

1. Who has the cutest tickle laugh?

Aw man this is super tough. In all honesty, I think both of them are utterly completely in love with the other’s love. 

Virgil’s laugh is so joyous and so carefree, just the opposite of how he portrays himself. Patton just falls in love with Virgil all over again every time he hears it and that’s why he makes sure to hear that laugh every single day.

Patton’s laugh is exactly how you would think it would be. It’s purely childish, carefree, belly laughs with the occasional ear-splitting shriek. His face always goes all red and scrunchy. It’s so much more adorable than you expect, even after years of tickle fights and giggle fits. 

2. Who is ticklish in unusual places and where would that be?

Patton has some adorably ticklish ears. But, to make it weirder, his right ear is soooooo much more ticklish. It’s not often that Virgil gets the chance to properly tickle them as much as they deserve but he makes sure to treasures the moments he can. There’s no greater joy than taking a fluffy feather and curling around his right ear while whispering teases into his other ear. Seeing them slowly glow bright red, is worth tickling them alone but of course the frantic giggling and wimpy “stop!”s and “it tickles!” also makes it worth tickling them every chance Virgil can get. When he’s bored/anxious, they’re the perfect distraction and fidgeting thing.

3. Who gets cheer-up tickles?

To put a spin on this, Virgil always gets the cheer-up tickles but Patton also gets a weird moment of calm when tickling Virgil. To cheer-up Patton, you need to let him tickle you. When they’re both stressed or upset, they will curl up in their pjs under the bed blankets and Patton will slowly start to tickle Virgil. They’ll spoon and gentle tracing around his tummy will slowly turn into digging scribbles as he pins his arms down and holds his top up. For Virgil, letting himself laugh and relax into Patton’s firm cuddle is so grounding and distracting. For Patton, focusing on the tickles and knowing that no matter what Virgil will love him and he can always make Virgil laugh and look over him. 

4. Who takes advantage of the other one getting their arms stuck while taking off their shirt?

Patton is the ultimate tickle monster and will deliberately look for every single opportunity to give some tickles to his grumpy emo storm cloud! Virgil is useless in the morning and just fumbles around until things work. It’s not unusual for Patton to take pity and help him put his jumpers on. But, of course, his help comes with the fact of life that he will scribble down his sides as he pulls the jumper down. Oh and look this jumper is tightly stuck so it’s taking awhile. Oh please stand still Virge, I’ve just got to get it unstuck from the exact middle of your armpits. Lots of teasing which is really unfair as Virgil’s brain as yet to load and he’s forced to just stand there and try not to fall. He can’t even try to fight back, he’s just got to stand there and make sure his knees don’t melt. 

5. How did they discover each other’s ticklishness?

I don’t know why this sudden image came to me but! I can just imagine Patton cleaning the house after a good baking session and he pulled out a feather duster. He was practically glowing as he realised he must look like a 1950s housewife. Patton dances around the living room while twirling this feather duster. Virgil walks in and he jokingly swats him with the duster. Now, Virgil was wearing a thick jumper as per usual. There was no way it could possibly tickle. But yet his mind just panicked. He is the epitome of flight and fight. His brain convinces him that Patton somehow discovered his greatest secret and he must fight back. So he grabs the duster and quickly shoves it under Patton’s top to which Patton then immediately buckles and starts squealing. Virgil ends up tickling the snot out of his boyfriend. 

Afterwards, Patton asks just what on earth sparked that moment of playfulness and Virgil instinctually answers that he thought Patton would tickle him first. Which of course results a duster being shoved up his jumper in revenge. 

6. Who can’t take tickle bites?

Patton but not really for the reasons to be expected. He can take tickle bites but his ultimate weakness is raspberries. And he knows for a fact that if Virgil is doing tickle bites then raspberries are coming. The instant Virgil puts his mouth on him, he screaming and wiggling even faster. So Virgil uses tickle bites as anticipation for raspberries which makes them absolutely unbearable for Patton. 

7. Who has to be tickle-forced out of bed in the morning?

As mentioned earlier, Virgil is useless in the morning but Patton wants them both to wake up at the same time just like in all the love films and books. It becomes a game between them. Patton will wake up and still see his darling boyfriend dead to the world in his arms and he will gently tickle up and down his sides. “Oh, just how I love waking up to these summer mornings with my darling boyfriend, who’s definitely awake and enjoying the morning with me. You can tell he’s awake and ready for the beautiful day awaiting us because he’s just giggling at the thought of enjoying today!”. 

8. Who gives up in a tickle fight?

Surprisingly Patton. Patton enjoys tickles with absolutely no shame, maybe some embarrassment and blushing but he will “oh no!” become suddenly weak and helpless and so forced to sit there and just enjoy those tingly tickles. Sometimes, even he he is fighting back, he will deliberately stop for a second to just enjoy Virgil’s giggles as he wrecks his tickle monster boyfriend. He just wants to enjoy the open joy Virgil is feeling. If Patton has one ultimate weakness, it would be Virgil. He’d take all the tickles in the world to see Virgil having fun and messing about.

9. Who is in danger of getting hurt when attacking the other?

Virgil is the most danger when tickling Patton. Patton always wants to enjoy his tickles and so he tries with all of his might and strength to enjoy them and sit still. But, he’s not very strong. Virgil will think Patton is just lying there and will focus on his tickling and then suddenly it becomes too much and Patton kicks out violently with no warning. Virgil has had quite a few bruises from Patton to which Patton almost cries over hurting him. 

10. Who always provokes the other into tickling them and how?

Hmm, a bit of both. Virgil knows that tickling someone is a great stress release for Patton and so he will go through subtle hints like “oh my foot is super itchy” or “could you give me a massage” to some outright storming into his room with his shirt pulled up and his tummy proudly showing to the world. There have been times where Virgil thinks that Patton is more stressed than he is but Patton will never turn down a blushing Virgil asking for tickles. 

For Patton, he thinks he’s super subtle but he’s really not. He’s the one to wear an outfit to ‘hint’ at tickles. Virgil will be eating his bowl of cereal, slowing waking up, and Patton will walk in with short shorts, a crop top and knee high socks with ‘tickle me’ written across the soles. Subtle, obviously. It’s through this that Patton actually realises that he loves knee high socks and he loves that tracing over them makes things so much more ticklish! Soft tickles don’t really work for him for him on bare soles but the soft tickles over the fluffy socks really get him!

1. Who has the cutest tickle laugh?

Hmm... I feel like Logan. Similar to Virgil, he doesn’t laugh often and most of the time it’s just a sarcastic laugh. But I think he has the cutest as Logan snorts like you wouldn’t believe. His laughter is so squeaky and snorty and all over the place! The sort of the laugh where you find yourself laughing along with it. Virgil is completely obsessed with it. Imagine the most responsible uptight posh person you can and then their laugh is high pitched squeals and breathy snorts. 

2. Who is ticklish in unusual places and where would that be?

It’s not really a strange place but I really love the idea that Virgil is supremely ticklish on his back. Completely and utterly ticklish back! The cuddle up in bed and Virgil spends ten minutes squealing that Logan can’t touch his back, breath on his back, even look at his back. Watching films and Logan pulls Virgil into his lap? Half an hour of Virgil giggling at even the thought that Logan could get his back at any point. Logan tries to take a picture with his arm around Virgil and Virgil is blushing neon red and squirming before he can even put his arm around him. 

3. Who gets cheer-up tickles?

I don’t know if this is cheer-up, but I really like the idea of Logan completely stressed out his mind. Like slumped at his desk, realising he isn’t doing any work and won’t be able to do any because he’s so tired and stressed. He pushes away with a sigh and collapses into Virgil’s lap. Virgil knows exactly what he wants but he cheekily pretends he has no idea. Logan timidly asks that Virgil take his mind off things with some gentle tickles. They then spend the next half an hour gently scribbling and tracing around his feet or tummy, letting Logan just giggle and squeal his worries away. And this all happens a lot more often they would both like to admit. 

4. Who takes advantage of the other one getting their arms stuck while taking off their shirt?

Oh Logan, completely! I love the idea of Logan being kinda useless in the morning. He wakes up and doesn’t bother putting on his glasses. He will say he doesn’t need his glasses because he can roughly see and has memorised the house. In actuality, he always forget about them and can’t be bothered finding them (even though they’re in the same place every single morning). So he always, ALWAYS, gets tangled in his shirts. He can’t count how many he’s put on backwards or inside out. He gets stuck in his morning uselessness and his blindness all while his adorable little tummy is open and vulnerable. Virgil cannot be blamed for anything that he does. 

5. How did they discover each other’s ticklishness?

Oh I don’t really know. Building on question 2, imagine an analogical who’s only just got together. Logan in his own super awkward attempt at being sappy, he tries stiffly hugging and cuddling Virgil only to see Virgil completely freeze. He questions it and Virgil ends up shouting that he’s “super ticklish, Lo! Shut up!”. They’re still a little awkward afterwards but Logan really loosens up when he realises who cute Virgil is when tickled.

Of course, Virgil discovers Logan’s ticklishness when he finally fights back. He’d say that he fought back against Logan’s tickles immediately but in reality, he didn’t think to fight back until months of attacks and tickles. At first, he thought Logan wasn’t even ticklish but it turns out you just need to go gentle to unlock all his laughs then he can’t hold back. 

6. Who can’t take tickle bites?

I feel like neither are hugely affected by tickle bites but I think Virgil has a special weakness to seeing Logan finally acting fully silly and embracing his inner tickle monster. Have you ever seen a tickle monster with a tie? Exactly. Something about it, makes it tickle all the more and also he just thinks seeing Logan ‘nom’ away is really funny!

7. Who has to be tickle-forced out of bed in the morning?

Surprisingly, a bit of both. Definitely Virgil the most often. He’s just a sleepy boy and there’s nothing funnier than tickling his back to then see him shoot out of bed with a squeal. He goes from dead to the world to across the room giggling. There’s nothing more that brings more joy to Logan. 

But that doesn’t mean Logan doesn’t have his moments. Some days, especially after a stressful project, he’ll treat himself to waking up late. But, the stress just always conks him out. If he isn’t woken up then he’ll sleep for sixteen hours straight. Virgil will always start gentle in the hopes of slowly waking him up but that never works. It quickly turns into planting raspberries on his neck while digging into his sides. It doesn’t happen often but Virgil genuinely treasures and looks forward to those mornings. 

8. Who gives up in a tickle fight?

See, you would think it would be Logan. He’s a posh boy and he has an embarrassing laugh (to him). But no. Logan is stubborn and competitive. If he starts a tickle fight then the earth will be swallowed by the sun before he gives up. He could be pinned down being destroyed but he is simply biding his time to attack when Virgil gets too confident. 

Virgil always makes the mistake of getting too entranced by Logan’s carefree giggles and squeals and so when the tables turn, he immediately knows he’s too ticklish to fight against Logan’s thorough effective tickling. He starts almost all of their tickle fights but he immediately folds when Logan wins.

9. Who is in danger of getting hurt when attacking the other?

Neither really. Virgil just always squirms in the spot or just tries to run away if Logan’s grip is weak, so he never really gets in the way. And Logan has the worst habit (in his view, Virgil loves this) of just curling into a ball as if that would protect him from everything. It doesn’t and never will. 

10. Who always provokes the other into tickling them and how?

Logan will ask for tickles but it is Virgil who always provokes tickles. Again, he will make a huge deal about being tickled and just how incredibly ticklish he is which is all just screaming for a tickling! Not to mention, Virgil has the habit of falling into Logan’s lap and then giggling and begging for his back not to be tickled. Of course, Logan can only take so much temptation.

1. Who has the cutest tickle laugh?

Roman but only by one spot. Both of them have adorable laughs but Roman has one spot. A very specific scribble between his toes gets a shrieky high pitched laughter. It’s amazing to Patton. Both of them had no idea his voice could get anywhere near that high. Patton once recorded it to send to his actor friends so they can see the highest Roman can get. When they discovered it, Roman demanded he tickles him again to figure just what on earth is that laugh! His face blooms a bright red and his laugh is more like a series of shrieks rather than a laugh. Patton was genuinely stunned to the point where he stopped tickling the first time they discovered it. 

2. Who is ticklish in unusual places and where would that be?

Roman. It’s not a traditional weird tickle spot but more like a normal tickle spot that ticklish in a weird way! Through Patton’s tickle monster ways, they’ve found out Roman’s absolute worse spot, his armpits, gets bigger the more it’s tickled. If a tickling session is just starting then it’s literally only his pits. But the longer you tickle then it stretches to down by his ribs and back towards his back. If you tickled those spots before getting the pits then they’re only a little ticklish but it’s almost like the incredible ticklishness of his pits spreads. Patton can drive him to tears by tickling his back near his pits just from his alone. They don’t do it often because that is his worst spot but Patton loves seeing the panic when Roman realises what’s happening. 

3. Who gets cheer-up tickles?

I mentioned in the moxiety one that Patton gets cheered up from tickling someone else. It’s nice to focus on something and know that it’s spreading joy to that person. But Roman is way too stubborn and proud to ever just sit there and take it! Instead, Roman will see that Patton needs some cheering up and he will sit him down on their bed. He’ll grab Patton’s foot and let Patton grab his foot. Then they tickle each other as gently or harshly as needed. Sometimes Patton just needs to let out his frustration and really goes all out on the tickling and teases. It’s especially hard if he asks Roman for light tickles when he doing that. Roman is in hysterics while trying with all his mighty incredibly strength to focus on giving some gentle tickles. Patton gets distracted by tickling someone but also experiences some joy himself. And if Roman has some fun too then that’s just a bonus. 

4. Who takes advantage of the other one getting their arms stuck while taking off their shirt?

Patton cannot explain this at all... but somehow, there’s a particular way that Roman tickles his tummy that makes his knees go weak! Patton likes tickling and gets into lee moods but somehow whatever Roman does, is something he absolutely craves and needs in his life! It’s like soft creeping tickles but it tickles just as much as harder tickles! It can render him speechless and he’s not even that ticklish on his tummy! And so, he tries to get stuck in his clothes as often as he can without raising suspicion. Which means he went 15 days straight of getting stuck in his top and wandering around with his little tummy vulnerable to any and all tickles. 

5. How did they discover each other’s ticklishness?

I feel like it would be an accident during their first ever date. Roman is pulling out all the stops. Roses, full tux, candle lit dinner and of course a kiss to the back of Patton’s hand. Over the dinner table, Roman knows it would come off too strong to just hold his hand (as if he hadn’t come on strong already) so he holds his hand under the guise of reading palms. Like the romantic himbo he is. Patton tries to let himself be wooed by Roman but it just tickles too much! He flat out tells Roman. 

Now, that raises a problem. Roman instantly become obsessed with how cute that was! Patton is ticklish?! Oh he must have the cutest laugh! Oh I wonder if he blushes! All kinds of sappy thoughts. But the problem comes from the fact he planned for a dramatic event to happen after they leave the restaurant. He planned for the imagination to create a monster to slay so he could impress Patton. But now all he can think about is tickles. So guess who summoned a tickle monster outside of the restaurant and got both of them tickled to tears. 

Patton loved everything about the date even if it didn’t go to plan and now he insists on tickle fights every anniversary. 

6. Who can’t take tickle bites?

Roman just can’t do it! The closeness, the soft tickles mixed with hard teethy nibbles, the chance for raspberries, just all of it! There’s a reason why he can’t wonder around the flat shirtless after a workout as Patton was latch on to him like an barnacle. He’ll be pouring himself a drink and next thing he knows he’s falling to the floor because Patton is nibbling up and down his sides. 

7. Who has to be tickle-forced out of bed in the morning?

I think it’s both! I feel like, while they both don’t really like waking up early, they are both used to waking up early and are quite bright eyed in the morning. Roman has to get up early to practise and go do theatre and Patton likes being able to have a nice breakfast of pancakes and he wants the time to do that. But! It’s now a competition. They both try to set their alarms earlier every single day (only by 5 mins because they do like sleep) so they can be the one to tickle the other awake. But they’re both super obvious about it. Roman will set an alarm with the hugest grin ever while Patton outright giggles and wiggles as he sets his alarm. Both of them want the joy of waking the other and hearing their sleepy husky giggles. 

They both know if they looked at each other’s phone then they could figure out to set their alarm earlier and win the game. But that’s cheating! It’s all a game! Maybe Roman wants a lie in and so 8am in early enough, but maybe he had theatre tomorrow so maybe an alarm for 7am is better? They go to bed excited for the next morning and wake up the next morning with laughter. 

8. Who gives up in a tickle fight?

Both of them can be incredibly stubborn and determined to win a tickle fight but Patton is waaay less competitive compared to Roman. They’ll both put up a brave fight but if it becomes apparent that Roman wants to win then he’ll happily sit back and enjoy his reckoning. Roman sometimes gets too wrapped up in winning to enjoy the tickles and the playfulness so sometimes he’ll immediately go after a death spot even if Patton goes for a normal spot to make a longer tickle fight.

Roman is strong. Like super strong. But he’s also aware of this. He knows to keep his flailing limbs to himself and mostly just wiggles around and tries to escape. But Patton. I love the idea of Patton being so much stronger than anyone, including him, realises. He’s done baking for years. He’s got those baking muscles of mixing tough doughs and whipping cream by hand. Patton wiggles around a lot and while he does try to never push the tickler away but there are times he tries to gently push Roman away. Only to end up smacking Roman’s chest and even leaving a red imprint of his hand. He’s always super embarrassed and ashamed he hit Roman but Roman meanwhile is bluescreening because he’s got a strong boyfriend. Secret hidden muscle Pat...

10. Who always provokes the other into tickling them and how?

As seen in question 4, the master of provoking tickles is Patton. But that doesn’t mean Roman doesn’t have his moments of wearing those tank tops with the really low sides, so his sides and pits are vulnerable. But Patton will make a huge deal of their size difference. I imagine Patton as really short and petite while Roman is average height but just really built up. So Patton, like the delicate twink boyfriend he is, will fall into his muscly boyfriend’s lap and swing his arms around Roman’s neck. His pits nice and vulnerable. Then he’ll press their feet together and slightly tickle Roman with his feet to provoke. Oh no, he has no chance against tickles from his bigger strong boyfriend!

(by the way, Patton absolutely plays up their height difference when also wrecking Roman. “Oh no, really? You can’t fight back against me? The tiny eeny weeny Pat is really tickling the big powerful Roman to tears?”. Patton just likes having a big strong boyfriend!)

1. Who has the cutest tickle laugh?

Logan definitely. Roman is already quite happy and cheerful so to see him laughing is already cute. But seeing Logan’s rare belly laughs, that kind of laugh that loosens his entire body and makes him blush and tear up, is the absolute cutest. Logan’s laugh is also surprisingly loud comThere’s always a point during the tickling where Logan will just give up and just lay there as he’s tickled. He just throws his head back and lets out the most joyous bellowing laughs and Roman gets star struck every time. 

2. Who is ticklish in unusual places and where would that be?

When they were doing a thorough examination to make sure Roman’s tickle spots were still working, they discovered Roman has one particular spot on his jaw. His neck isn’t ticklish really but there’s this one spot under his jaw to the right that can only be tickled very softly. It doesn’t necessarily tickle loads but Logan had a complete field day he discovered it and it provoked an entire day of seeing if he can see if “Roman has been lying about any more secret tickle spots. For I am his Ler and therefore I should have profound knowledge of all of his most tickly spots. I take great pride in this job and I cannot have Roman making a mockery of me by not informing me of these spots.”

3. Who gets cheer-up tickles?

Logan but I feel like he wouldn’t be able to be pried away from his work. I feel like both of them take extreme pride in their work and are both work addicts. Therefore, Roman can see that Logan is stressed but also knows how annoying it is to have someone peel you away from work and you then can’t remember what tasks you had to do. So Logan will see Roman enter his room with sympathy written all over his face and he’ll just instinctually smile. He’ll take off his shoes and swings his legs so that his feet are sole up towards Roman while he sits and continues to work. Roman knows to keep it light so not to distract him. Just some gentle giggles to help lighten up his stress. Then Logan will either thank him for the laughs and continue his work alone or he’ll recognise he needs to relax and follow Roman out of the office.

4. Who takes advantage of the other one getting their arms stuck while taking off their shirt?

Roman knows that seeing him shirtless can get Logan all flustered and so every single day he will get dressed very slowly while flexing. But obviously, months down the line in their relationship, Logan is no longer the flustered gay disaster he once was (he still is, just not as bad) and now whenever Roman does this, he gladly tickles him. Roman will then flail around and end up actually getting tangled up in his shirt and really needs help. 

5. How did they discover each other’s ticklishness?

There’s been a couple of fics like this but I just love the idea of this being how Roman discovered that Logan is ticklish. Roman really really really wants to try out body paints after seeing a bunch of videos of body paints. Logan put up some denial but seeing Roman actually deflate was heart breaking so he agreed. Cut to Logan absolutely neon red trying to hold in his laughter and slamming his hand against the floor and Roman having no idea why his boyfriend is being so dramatic about paint.

Logan found out about Roman’s ticklishness quickly after by turning around and destroying Roman with tickles to “see how you like it!”. The paint got absolutely everywhere and they even had to repaint the walls as there were splatters of red and navy everywhere.

6. Who can’t take tickle bites?

Logan. He just can’t excessive silliness. Especially since he’s squealing all over the place and acting silly too. Something about the childishness and playfulness just really gets him. 

7. Who has to be tickle-forced out of bed in the morning?

Roman. It’s not often that he has to literally be chased out of bed with tickles but Logan loves his schedules and he cannot afford Roman’s distractions. And he will literally tickle chase him out of bed. It’ll start with wiggling fingers along his sides before creeping up to his pits and even when Roman will launch himself out of the bed, Logan will keep tickling him up to the bathroom and while he brushes his teeth. The spray of toothpaste on the mirror is just a necessary sacrifice to get Roman on time. 

8. Who gives up in a tickle fight?

Roman. There’s no particular reason. I just like the idea of Roman being this huge lee that just likes tickles. He’ll provoke tickle fights but then deliberately lose so he can enjoy not only the tickles but also seeing Logan be playful. Plus, who else is going to enjoy serious necktie man very straight faced and monotone voice cooing and teasing!

Logan. Oh poor Logan has received many bruises but not while tickle attacking the other funnily enough. It’s not often that Logan finds himself indulging in childish games such as a ler mood but he understands that Roman loves when he does. So of course he’s going to help his beloved boyfriend by going all tickle monster. And these moods will often last an entire day. So during these days, Roman will literally see Logan walk into the kitchen and will scream before fleeing. There’s been a couple of times when Roman was literally barrelled into Logan by accident and left him with a few bruises. But Logan always has a plan anyway.

“Oh Roman, ow that really hurts! Oh dear, oh my side. That hurts!”

“No, I’m not falling for it Lo!” 

“Ro...” 

“Oh, c’mere. I’m sorry beloved. Are you okaAAAAAHAHAHAAH”

“Roman, how many times must I do this before logically you understand that this is merely a ploy to get you your daily dose of tickle tickle tickles!”

10. Who always provokes the other into tickling them and how?

Roman. Of course, he is such a lee. Look at him. How dare he walk into the living room. That is obviously asking for tickles. The audacity of thinking he can just sit down on the sofa. Clearly he’s screaming for tickles. Of course. I am merely helping him by allowing his tickle fantasies to come to life. Obviously. This is a lee mood for Roman. I can’t believe I must be forced to tickle him again for the 5th time today.
