24. — agony

True agony for you wasn’t the scars on your face. It wasn’t the slashes that dripped black onto the floor, or the cold chains that were clamped around your wrists so tightly the flesh underneath had become raw, or the broken jaw you now had.

No. True agony for you, two six zero, was finding out the truth of what was going on at the Neishi manor.

There were hints all along, the rumors and whispers, the disappearances and the similarities, but you tossed those all aside. Your master was perfect, she cared about you, about all of you, right?

Oh, how stupid could you even be. Poor, naive two six oh, they would say. They were right.

You open your eyes, the blood from your scars blurring your vision. The lab, besides the black stains splattered across the room now, is pristine, the steel reflecting the bright lights from above. A figure moves to stand in front of you, a hand gently cups your chin and angles your head to look up. You can’t even bring yourself to look at her anymore, so you close your eyes again.

“Darling, I told you, if you struggled, things would hurt more.”

Her voice is saccharine, as it always was, but now you can taste the venom hidden just behind the sweetness.

“Come, now, we can’t work with you like this. Go back, get yourself cleaned up. We’ll see about trying again tomorrow, hm?”

You want to scream. You want to run, to get out of this candy coated hell you’ve found yourself in. But your legs are cemented in place. A gentle hand from Yyzmah nearly topples you, but you’re able to move after a minute. You turn and start the walk back to the slave quarters. You’re not sure if the blood in your eyes is making you see things, or if you’ve just never noticed it before, but you swear you see cages, full of animals that just... aren’t quite right. Some parts seem troll-like. You shake your head, and just focus on getting out of there as soon as you can.

Naive, foolish two six zero.

No. No, you won’t call yourself that anymore.

Your name is now TUSIRA.

sonati (and tusira but shes not important rn) both sharpened their own teeth! their teeth were a bit dull at first but both, for different reasons, said fuck it, and with their incredibly high pain tolerance, sat there and filed their own teeth to be razor sharp

Sevenn is all about reminiscing. to the point where it can actually hurt him. but he reflects on everything a LOT and remembers where he came from, and why its important he keep being himself

Tusira would much sooner forget because why does it matter where i came from, it sucked, yeah, but im better now and im amazing, why bother with the past when i am so good now
