I'm giving up on the Cardcaptors anime. I like neither the English Dub nor Japanese and my love for Keroberos cannot keep me watching anymore. The English is too choppy and is clearly edited and it gets worse as the series progresses. Plus every version I find has weird sped up audio. But I love Sakura's tough girl character and Kero's voice. I also love Julian's voice. It just seems to fit him. The Japanese makes Kero too cutesy and Sakura seems more vulnerable and not half as cool. The weird thing between Julian (Yukiko) and Li needs to stop. Both versions are weird in that, and I believe it is completely useless in every aspect. It doesn't do much for character development and just seems rather pointless. I wish the English dub would have edited it better instead of leaving scenes with no explanation. However I wish the English dub would have kept in all the scenes between Sakura and Julian, as well as her and Li. Also, the English dub can't have any romance at all- cutting out side character's romance and making them cousins instead of boyfriend and girlfriend. I think I might try the Manga, seeing how it is the most accurate version, being the original. I heard the relationship between Li and Sakura is much quicker so that's a plus. Also there are only 19 Clow Cards instead of the 50 BILLION that are in the Anime. It's a part of the Tusubasa universe so that's why I'm trying it. Next is xxxHolic and Chobits.
