➺ Riddle was one of the first few you told about your old school days, and he was delighted to hear you used to be a card soldier! He asks you all sorts of questions about your time as a student, along with Cater! Although, Cater mostly asks for pics of you in your old uniform. Which you happily show to them! They both insist you wear it next time you visit their dorm.
➺ Ace and Deuce are pretty happy to hear you were in Heartslabyul too. Addditionally, this comes in handy when they need an assist with Riddle. Remembering just the first 10 rules is hard enough, an entire 810 rules is different. So you’d be saving their skin if you happen to remember at least half of the rule book. Which you do!
➺ Trey is delighted to know you were a card soldier! When he has the time, or there’s room in his tutoring session, he’ll ask for your input for party planning. You both know how important the Unbirthday Parties are, especially to Riddle. So you’ll jot down some notes for him, or stop by during one of his baking sessions.

➺ Leona is secretly happy you were in Savanaclaw back in the day. But he’ll still keep up his nonchalant attitude; he might jokingly call you his ‘upperclassman’ once in awhile though. Whenever any sports tournaments do arrive, and you’re watching from the teachers’ box, you’ll see his playing style shift a little.
➺ Ruggie and Jack are the only ones eager to hear about your NRC experience. Surely there’s some tips and tricks you can pass onto them? At least that’s how Ruggie puts it, but he does enjoy hearing about Spelldrive back in your day. Jack is by far the most excited though! He takes your words to heart, but he gets a little star struck seeing pics of you in your old uniform.

➺ Azul got pretty excited hearing you were in Octavinelle for a time, but he’d probably try to play it cool. Although it is nice to hear your stories about when you were a student. He tries his best to hide it, but Azul gets very happy whenever you compliment his efforts! After all, you were once in his shoes, and he wants to make you proud!
➺ Jade and Floyd get pretty happy hearing you used to be in their dorm! Mostly Floyd, who often tries to get special treatment out of you since you’re his ‘upperclassmen.’ Jade is more interested in your stories, especially what you did for club activities and extracurricular events.

➺ Kalim and Jamil are veeeeery curious in two different ways. Kalim is just ecstatic, and he’ll ask you all sorts of questions like if you were ever a housewarden or what kind of special events you went to or who your friends were! Jamil is a more mellow version of Kalim, in which he’ll ask you questions about academics. Or if anything seems different about the current NRC.

➺ Vil has a more calm curiosity but he’s delighted to hear you used to be in Pomefiore. If your previous experiences have wriggled their way into your teaching methods or habits, then Vil has a newfound admiration for you.
➺ Both Rook and Epel are ecstatic to hear you used to be in Pomefiore. Rook is just flat out happy you used to be one of them, but Epel secretly asks for any tips or tricks you might’ve used to get by. And you’re willing to lend a hand to the kid, he’s had it rough so you don’t mind helping him. It’s similar to Ace and Deuce really.

➺ Idia isn’t like ecstatic or anything, but he still thinks it’s a nice thought knowing you were in his shoes once. Dorm leader or not; he wants to get advice from you, and he knows you’re willing to help him. The poor guy just gets so nervous, so Ortho’s usually the one who does the talking. But both of them love seeing old photos of you and your school mates!

➺ Malleus holds a deep sense of joy knowing his favorite teacher used to be a member of his dorm! He’s a curious guy, but he can’t help but feel a teeny tiny bit smug whenever you bring up some of your old stories. His face says it all really.
➺ While Lilia wasn’t there when you enrolled, he enjoys trading stories with you if you happen to know his secret. But he too feels overjoyed knowing you were in Diasomnia; sometimes he claims you two are ‘family’ just to tease you. But you don’t mind, Lilia’s just happy!
➺ Sebek and Silver do their very best to live up to the ‘Diasomnia’ name after this! Especially Sebek … he treats you as if you were another Malleus. But you often let the two of them know that they don’t have to push themselves so much; as their mentor, it’s your job to keep them from overworking themselves too.

NRC w/ a Homesick Tutor . . .

The students at Night Raven College view their favorite Tutor as the big sister figure. You’re always so kindhearted and thoughtful. So it’s no surprise that they can tell something is off once they step into your office.
Your cup of tea had been sitting cold on your desktop for a while, and the curtains that allow the warm sunshine in were drawn shut.
You didn’t even laugh at Grim when he came for his daily tuna break! Usually you’d laugh at his puffed up features whenever he gets antsy. But this time you just smiled, and sort of sat there?
After some light pestering, Grim found out you were homesick. Really homesick….
Just how was he supposed to fix this?
First Years
When Ace and Deuce heard you were sad, they nearly dropped everything to go check on you! They would’ve left right then and there if not for Professor Trein. So they decided to see you after classes. They almost toppled you over when they hugged you! But it was a very warm gesture so you didn’t mind at all.
Jack heard from Epel that you were homesick, and the poor guy felt terrible. Whenever Jack sees you, he’ll offer to carry anything you’re holding or do any sort of heavy lifting for you. He’s not upfront about his feelings but you can see that he cares.
Epel will try his best to do the same! He may not be as strong as Jack, but he’ll still try his best to make you happy! Such as baking an apple pie! He learned the recipe from his Grandma, so he made sure to make it extra sweet and crispy. He even delivered it to Ramshackle himself.
Sebek nearly throws your door off of its hinges when he visits! In his hands is a gift basket and he’s wielding it like it’s a first aid kit. There’s tissues, sweets, some flowers, and even bags of tea. He brought those to brew himself, but sort of treats you to a small tea party. If you need any more comfort, he’ll gladly embrace you. Just very tightly.
Ortho is the most concerned aside from Deuce; the first thing he does is rush to Ramshackle. A nice friendly outing is just what you need! He’ll bring some snacks and you two go on a nice stroll together! He teaches you random coding facts and shares stories about his brother.
Second Years
As much as Azul wants to see you, he’s unfortunately very busy. So he’d send Floyd and Jade your way with some flowers or a sweet dessert from the Lounge. Free of charge! Jade would make your favorite tea to calm you down, while Floyd keeps you company. He’d probably entertain you with basketball stories.
Kalim’s first instinct is to throw you a party! That’ll cheer you up right away! Jamil agrees, but manages to convince Kalim that a small get-together would be better. When you arrive, you’re surprised with your favorite foods all laid out on a pretty blanket! Even a little burnt cake that Kalim made himself.
When Riddle hears how upset you are, his first instinct is to invite you to Heartslabyul. If you’re up to it of course; but spending time with friends is always a nice way to wind down. He has Trey bake your favorite dessert, but Riddle offers to serve you himself. He’d even write you a thank-you note as a gift.
Ruggie is more subtle in his approach, preferring to keep to himself if you’re not comfortable yet. But he’ll offer to run errands for you: delivering papers, cleaning up, or picking up your lunch order. He won’t even ask to share! He doesn’t mind, Leona will cut him a break once he tells him what’s up.
Acts of service are also up Silver’s alley, he was raised to be a gentleman! He’ll open doors for you and help with any physical tasks as well. But if you look like you could use a friend, he’ll keep you company. Silver will even bring his little animal friends over! They’re so cute and adorable! And girls like adorable things right?
Third Years
Trey is more than happy to have you at Heartslabyul! But he’ll bake you small treats to bring to your office. Cater will sometimes be with him, tagging along as extra company. The boys do their best to cheer you up, like crack some jokes or tell you about their Unbirthday party plans. They also bring tea at their next tutoring sessions.
Leona is also subtle, he’s not the greatest at comforting people. But if you’re ready to talk, he’ll be there to listen. You two mostly will play chess to pass the time, but expect to hear some wild stories from the rest of the staff— since Leona suddenly showed up to classes! Trein cried that whole week.
Once your sad tale hits Pomefiore, expect a very long handwritten letter from Rook. It’s actually a poem! Telling of all your wonderful deeds and how lovely you are. It shows just how much you mean to everyone. Vil also helps since his handwriting is recognizable, but he throws in a small gift basket too.
Idia is unfortunately at a loss on how to cheer you up. His gamer skills haven’t prepared him for such a crazy event, but he’s going to try anyways! You end up finding an email in your computer, with a PNG file containing photos of you with all the kids! How did Idia get these? You have no idea.
Comfort food that reminds you of home is a guaranteed way to lift your mood, but Silver convinces Lilia to buy you some food instead. In a flash, he’s at your doorstep with some nice takeout and plenty of tissues. He ended up staying the whole night.
Malleus was actually the first to one to hear about your state from Grim, when you didn’t come outside for your midnight stroll. Just the idea of you being so sad hurt him greatly, so he comforted you the best he could. He even made you a small bouquet from the roses he grew. Poor Malleus just wants to help you, he’s so sweet! 🥹
This is sort of like a continuation of my Young Adult! Yuu post. But this idea popped into my head when I couldn’t sleep; I am working on other posts too don’t worry! But I’m just kind of speed-posting for fun. I hope you enjoy, thank you!

Ace and Deuce showing off the good grades they got on their recent test (finally). Ace trying to get some kind of reward out of you, only to sheepishly accept a few pats on the head. Deuce too, he’s a good kid!
Leona camping out in your office or whatever spot you’re hanging out in. He usually just naps, or at least tries to if you’re not nagging him. But sometimes he’ll chill there to escape Ruggie. You’ll even play chess together if he doesn’t have anything to catch up on.
Ruggie sometimes pops in looking for Leona, since he knows you’re the only staff member he can tolerate. But he’ll usually stick around for a chat or if you have any spare treats lying around your desk. Nowadays you leave out a bowl of candy for the younger kids.
The Savanaclaw boys really enjoy carrying your things. Perhaps it’s just to show off their skills and physical prowess. Jack’s tail always wags extra hard when you compliment him.
Epel comes in for advice on his next Potionology assignment, rather than asking his Pomefiore peers. Not that he isn’t grateful for them! You’re just less nitpicky about him getting the ingredients wrong.
Floyd is a student who needs your help the most, aside from Leona. But he won’t really pay attention, not unless he’s in the mood. Compliments are usually the way to go about it — one day Floyd is sulking & groaning at your desk about some dumb practice test. By next week, he’s barging into your office with a B+ in his hand. Isn’t he just soooo smart?
This next idea was from my little sister because I’m really short & she’s taller than me lol. (She’s barely in high school) If Floyd wants attention, even from a short adult, he’d just pick you up and lift you into the air like it’s nothing.
You’re aware Idia is less social than his peers, but if he doesn’t have the courage to approach you then Ortho will just come in his place. Sure Ortho could just help Idia study himself, but he enjoys your company. Plus his brother intended to talk to you! Might as well do it for him! Next thing Idia knows, there’s a pile of mock tests and notes at his dorm with his name on them. 😊
It’s very often the kids call you Miss or even Miss [Y/N] instead of your last name. Which you don’t mind. But sometimes the word Miss feels like your real name. The students constantly call it out if they see you in the halls. Or grumble it softly like they’re little kids in detention. (A lot of my JR High students do this, it’s kind of funny lol. Especially when they’re hyper.)
For some odd reason, they love to help. You’re not sure whether it’s because you’re a woman, they want to get out of class, or just because they like you. But you’re still grateful! They help copy lesson plans on your chalk board, move paperwork, or run to your office to grab something. You already gave them the key, and they know where to go. They’ll be fine!
Plenty of them have tried sneaking off to find you instead of going to class like good kids! If you try to send them back they’ll just whine and mope around. “But Miiiiiiss it’s so boring there! I just wanted to see you! Miss I already know all that stuff! Hey Miss did you know that you’re my favorite!”
Okay this one is definitely more random than the rest but hear me out! If you ever get a date, those kids will definitely spy on you. Like in those Disney sitcoms where the group hides out in bushes with fake mustaches. They think they’re being so clever, until you turn and shout at them to GO HOME!

The Magical Shift club often invites you to their games or practice outside school hours. It’s mostly Epel but he just wants you there cheering for them.
You definitely cheer the loudest for NRC during tournaments, aside from Crowley. Magical Shift, board games, concerts, Esports, basketball! All the kids love it. You once made a sign with Ace’s face on it; Floyd doubled over laughing.
You try to squeeze in as many students as you can for appointments. After all they’re trying so hard! If you’re ever late Sebek, Jack, and Deuce will cheer you on from across the hall. It’s a little silly but the thought is appreciated!
Speaking of Sebek, he’s a little reluctant to come to your sessions. Not that he wants to be rude, he’s actually very polite. He’s just not used to asking for help often. But you take your time and eventually he’ll start to seek you out himself. (Proud mama moment!)
There are plenty of moments where Lilia snuck into your office for a chat! He never needs any help, and claims he just enjoys some company without “the youngsters.” He hasn’t told you his real age but you’ve quietly caught on that he isn’t exactly a student. You two will sometimes bounce around random topics over tea and cake. It’s sort of become a morning routine now.
Speaking of cake, Trey will sometimes visit if he has any leftovers from working in the kitchen. When he stops by for tutoring sessions, expect a piece of tart or even a cupcake. He likes getting different opinions anyways, but you keep telling him to start a Culinary Club.
Despite all of your skills, Potionology is a still tricky subject. And there are moments when you can’t always figure out a student’s needs. They just don’t want to ask Crewel for help … you keep pestering them to ask until you end up doing it yourself.
Ironically, Crewel doesn’t mind if it’s coming from you. He won’t admit it, but he secretly admires how easily you take to the students. At least most of them. For you and for the kids, he’ll be a little nicer during the next period.
Kalim is someone who visits you every now and then. Especially after the events of Chapter 4, since Jamil stopped tutoring him for awhile. You were happy to help of course! But now your desk keeps filling up with expensive thank-you gifts. At this point you should just get a bigger one.
I’m not sure if the faculty visits the Mostro Lounge? I don’t see why they wouldn’t but if they ever do, you definitely get a discount once in a while. Floyd is just super happy to see you, but Azul and Jade appreciate how patient you are with their staff. You even leave big tips! Which is always a plus!
Since you have so many “well-behaved” kids behind you, it will not go well if someone is mean to you. If you’re in town and they see someone cut you off in line, rush past you, or spill all your groceries, there will be a crowd of feral children!!
Half of them will try to help you while the other half is ready to start a brawl. Of course you try to be the mediator here. Teenagers can be so intense sometimes. 😓
