Your lineart is literally perfection!!! I'm really curious how you manage to deal with line weight so well if you don't mind sharing that with us~?
Sure i can!!
Before anything, i use SAI 1.1 and those are my settings for lineart:
Said this, to keep a lineart, at least for me, a good one, you need some consistency with the brushes you’re using, you need them to have a pattern!
To keep a patter and keep them under the consistency i want, i used this:
Size stands for the, clearly, size. It’ll define how huge or how small your brush can be depending on the pressure you aply on it. If it’s 4.1 pixels, you can hammer your pen and all you will reach is 4.1! If it’s 500.0 pixels, you know the jam!
Min Size is the, clearly, minimun size. It’ll define when the pressure will start, on this case SAI assumes i am starting with 12% pressure even i am barely touching the pen. You can use it to avoid too small lines and prevent damege on your shoulder.
Density is how diluted the “paint“ will be!
All my brushes are set to 12% pressure, otherwise i’ll end up with a too thin line, and they have a VERY SMALL size, otherwise it would be too thick!
Size is defining it’s max, and min size it’s minimun, so even if i press too strong or too light, i can keep the consistency on the brush!
Even is how the brush often is, strong is me pressing it as forceful as i could on the tablet, and weak is the barely touching nib on the surface!
with only this i can keep a consistent lineart that preserve the style to all pieces i do!
PS: The first one and third have 8% dilution, so it looks blurred!
PPS: My canvas is damn huge.
HOPE IT HELPS!!!
