u n d e r c o n s t r u c t i o n ! (stuff about me, this blog, and you guys
Hey everyone!
I just wanted to drop in and let you all know that more tutorials are coming and they'll be coming regularly, and quickly! I've just only begun this blog as of like 2 days ago, and the whole set up and coding process is really taking a lot of time. I want this blog to grow to be a big, trusted index of tutorials and tips, so i'm currently organizing and categorizing all the future posts!
I'm also in the process of creating a sort of "handbook" for myself. I've been writing up basic templates for different sorts of posts i hope to bring here. For example, i've started a chronological list of every tutorial i've done so far with their listed tags, and where it's categorized on the blog showing it's path. There is a template i've created for this timeline, that organizes which tags exactly i put on each post so that they are organized by tag and categorized on the blog 100% correctly. I tag them by difficulty, category, and post type (tutorial, ask, blog post, etc.)
-- speaking of! I just got my first ask and i've only just begun this blog, thanks for noticing guys i really appreciate it! keep following and reflagging, and drop an ask just to say hi, make suggestions, or tell me what sort of tutorials and advice you'd like to see on the blog. Ask me questions you have about difficult builds, the game, or my tutorials in general. I've actually just decided to hop on over and create an archive of messages page, so you all can learn from each other's questions and read what sort of newsy-type things i have to share with you all. So look for that! And be involved, i want to be with you all :) --
i will also eventually fall into a regime, blog posts every monday, structure builds every wednesday, and furniture item builds every friday. *-{(it will be absolutely nothing like that.)}-*

i've actually climbed the view charts on youtube with three different gaming and tutorial accounts. I have since retired them as i've recently discovered text and photos are the way for me, even though i love editing film, i think i'll leave that for making music videos and montages instead. Thing is, i know what i'm sort of doing when it comes to relaying information to an audience in a way that works, and keeping up on posting habits, as well as replying to viewers, or in this case, bloggers, and keeping their interest at heart when building and shaping this blog. I have a passion for this, and it's a weird thing i know, but stick with me guys and watch this blog grow to be great and amazing! And then you can even be one of those hipsters that can say they knew about tutorialscubed before it was cool. ;)

I'm sure i'll have lots and lots to say every week, and that's when i'll post blog updates like this- for those of you that are interested or curious or whatever. My blog is made up of 1 post per page, which you all might find irritating when the only thing the page has is an ask; however, i like to keep it fresh like a feed, and i also think it will be helpful when viewing a lengthy tutorial to just scroll to parts of it that you know the location of instead of randomly jumping into other posts.
QUICK QUESTION FOR YOU GUYS: do you like more text? or more photos? I generally try to keep my posts tight and clean by posting several steps without pictures in between posts with pictures to make it mostly text-based system. I'm currently working on a tricky build tutorial however, and i don't think text-based will cut it. It might be a long post of photos. Would that be annoying? Which do you all prefer? Drop me an ask and i'll let you all know what the popular opinion was in the next blog post next week!

I got reaaallly side tracked, wow. I only planned for this post to be like a paragraph to inform you of one tiny little thing i haven't really even gotten to yet. I'm just really excited about this project and i'm just giddy i got an ask today after only having the blog up a couple days. There's people liking and reflagging posts, as well as following the blog and i can't tell you all how much that means to me- i know i'm being nerdy and lame, but i appreciate the support because i'm serious about this silly thing :) the point was, though, the most of this blog is still "under construction" there are many many many links in the index and catalogs that will lead you to nowhere- but don't think it's broken or that you won't find anything, i just haven't fully finished everything. In the index, generally the items underlined will take you to it's rightful page, the other options are there to show you what each list and catalog will someday be, and to give a better idea of each category and what you'll find there until it fills up. to avoid getting lost in the construction, just visit the home, the option is located in the ride links sidebar, and click through the posts. Also, you have to click left to go back in the tutorials, and right to go to the present ones, i know it's weird but you'll get used to it. :)
THE IMPORTANT PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT YOU SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN FROM ALL OF THAT:
- lots of the links don't work yet because i'm still making tutorials for them, so just go to the home and click through them chronologically as there are currently less than 10 to select and not many categories needed yet anyway. I am, however, currently working away to fill every category with at least one thing so they all work.
-the arrow on the home page is jacked up funky and you have to push the left arrow to go right in the numbers but back in time in posts, press the right arrow when it shows up on the second page to go forward in time or in posts. so left will lead you to the end, and right will lead you to the beginning. You can also just click the numbers. Let me know if that really sucks though because i'll fix it if i need to.
so yeah, thanks for all of the support so far, and be looking to see new tutorials posted lots and lots!
