mini family tree of Tei’s bio fam is done bcus why not.
Their mothers, Tuxisvim (snake tongue) & Sails-Many-Seas are pirates that go around & cause trouble like pirates do. They have a rather detached method of parenting but still care for the kids they have around. All 5 have no idea Tei is alive, their siblings not even knowing there was a 4th living kid. Granted it wasn’t really out of cruelty, Tei & another took so long to hatch (the other 3 hatching around late Rain’s Hand through Second Seed) that it was believed the remaining two of the clutch just didn’t make it. S-M-S had left them at the shores of Satakalaam for nature to do its thing; luckily for Tei, their egg was found before it had the fate as some creature’s meal, & they ended up hatching early Mid Year.
Y’all already know about Tei, though, so I’ll do a quick rundown on their biological siblings
Xulthux “Dead Serpent” - Second Eldest. After getting kicked out of his parent’s crew for trying to cause a mutiny, Xulthux became leader of the Thieves’ Guild in Skyrim. (trying to think how bcus he does NOT go through that quest the vanilla way but also i don’t want to kill off Karliah like I was originally planning with Xulthux’s path to Guildmaster - he obviously offs Mercer on his own terms though)
As you can probably tell, he’s a vampire. Not only that, but Xulthux is one hell of a Nightblade, w a knack for Conjuration & Illusion; as well as an Argonian with little to no moral standing, so watch out. P much is loosely built off/inspired by Jeer-Tei’s old version back on the now-dead 360 where I would just cause crime/havoc out of boredom. May or may not have a strain of Vampirism that led him to develop venom glands. Also yes his feathers grow like a fancy collar.
Haj-Toh “Hides-Her-Secrets” - Eldest hatchling out of the four & Sail-Master of her mother’s ship. Rarely speaks, save for when she’s doing her job, but her family & crew can usually pick up which grunts mean what. Has a growing collection of maps, some bought & some stolen, & is one hell of a navigator.
Rus-Vakka “Dances (in) Sun(light)” - Second youngest of the clutch. Rus-Vakka is the mix of both Cook & Master Gunner in the family crew...buuut if you were to ask him privately, he’d much rather leave the pirate gig to perform on stages, maybe steal from any noble audiences that come to see him. However, he feels bad at the idea of leaving his family be, & decides to stick with them until some other force causes the crew to break up.
