Hmm, IDK. I mean, DC/Man of Steel hate has definitely made me pissed at Marvel fandom at times. It’s not just Tumblr that did it, but I have complicated feelings about Star Wars fandom. And well, see below.
Q - A ship you’ve abandoned and why
Bell*rke, definitely. I shipped them in s1, despite my annoyance at how that ship dominated everything about the fandom, how they would ignore Octavia and act like EVERYTHING HE EVER DID WAS ABOUT CLARKE, but once Lexa showed up, I was done shipping them for good. And I didn’t even watch any of s2 live! Clexa is amazing on its own (I REFUSE TO SAY “WAS”) but then when you add to that the rampant biphobia/homophobia by a lot of Blarkers (not all, of course, but by no means a small number)…yeah. And the awfulness that is his arc in s3 was the nail in the coffin for me to ever be able to ship them again.

Eh, I mean there’s so many shows I know basically everything about, but don’t watch. But I guess there are shows I’ve stopped watching, but still care about certain parts of, like Supernatural and Grey’s Anatomy. And I guess Agents of SHIELD counts here too.

Haha I think I’m in the same place rn! Other than Magnus/Alec who only belong with each other, I’m pretty much shipping everyone/everyone. Like, after this week’s ep I’m kind of feeling Simon/Clary/Jace and Lydia/Izzy, but you could pretty much name any combination of characters and I’d be like “yup I’m down with that”.
