Would he freak out ? Or basically melt out of overwhelming emotions ?

Vampire Diaries question. Does Enzo first appear after Elena has been put into a magical slumber by Kai. I'm sure he does, but wanted to check. I'm working on an Originals fic, but there will be a slight crossover with TVD (hence this question as it is relevant to the story). And also technically a tiny crossover with Teen Wolf as well (a sort of blink and you'll miss it kind of moment). I've had this idea in my head for at least a couple years, and I did start writing it, but I've lost what I'd written (just the first chapter though) so I'm starting again. Going to finally write it.

I'm not trying to trash Delena, this is seriously a legitimate question, but... how are they actually going to be endgame? From the beginning, the only clear endgame has been Defan. It's always going to be Defan at the end, and now that Elena is human, she will obviously grow old one day and eventually die, whereas, Damon will obviously not take that cure. Because as I said before, the endgame is Defan! So???

Questions about the Heretics that i would love to be answered by somebody, anybody...

Hi, I would really like it if I could get the fandom’s thoughts on these questions. I’m just trying to figure these people out and its confusing me. Their motivations feel like its all over the place. .

1. Is it canon that the Heretics are sired to Lily ?

In 6x22 Stefan tells her that the heretics are sired to her and Lily refutes it. Yet it did look like they were sired or else why just unanimously agree to desiccate forever?

I get that the Sire bond does not change how you FEEL about a situation, but it does preclude you from doing things unfavorable to the person you are sired to. Which is why Oscar and Lily’s actions are confusing to me. 

-  Oscar seemed to be living it up when clearly Lily wanted Julian back ASAP. 

- Then there is Valerie who set Julian’s body on fire (and failed), which again went directly against Lily.

And the kicker - Valerie telling Oscar that she knows that he will trade Julian for his “freedom”. . Does this imply a sire bond or that Lily is just cray-cray and the heretics are cult like?

SO what is it ? Are they sired or not ?

2. Did Lily go looking for siphoners of magic who were thrown out of the Gemini coven?

From Valerie’s backstory its apparent that these siphoners of magic were with Lily for a few years before they turned into heretics. It just seems so contrived that she happened to take in orphans who were ousted from the Gemini coven for being freaks of nature. 

So did she just happen to come across these people and am I to believe that it was just chance that all 6 of her “children” turned out to be heretics or did she go looking for them specifically?

What threw me  - her turning Enzo. Coz clearly he was no siphoner, just an orphan, which implies that she was just collecting orphans.. but then... again.. too contrived that her other orphans are all RARE ones who could siphon magic.

3. Are they people who don’t care about the world and don't want to co-exist or are they people who ultimately just want to be accepted? 

TVDS7 has on several occasions mentioned Nora and Mary Lou’s woes about not being accepted by society for being gay back in the 19th century. Which kind of makes me wonder if all they wanted was to be accepted for what they are. Because all of them were shunned by their families for being freaks of nature and it would be logical that they carry that hurt with them. And I would have happily run with this theory, but then came Nora’s words - Lily needs to realize that the Heretics are not made to co-exist ( or contained or something like that I'm paraphrasing)

This line implies that they do consider themselves above the rest. And not wanting to co-exist directly contradicts their notion of wanting to be accepted.

This line also implies that they don’t really care about what the world thought. 

Also, Ummmm.. I'm pretty sure the world frowned upon mass murder too..

Its confusing. 

What is it? DO they want acceptance or do they want to dominate and do whatever the hell they want?

4. Do they like each other or not?

Several instances show Noralise disliking Valerie and vice versa, yet they went with her to take revenge on that driver who ran her over. Is this because they genuinely care or because they wanted to lash out against Lily? Nora referred to Valerie as a ‘friend’ in that scene, not sister. Yet Valerie called Oscar her ‘brother’ before killing him. SO what is it? Is it that each heretic feels differently about their ‘family’ members or what? 

Also, Oscar made it quite clear that he wanted OUT of the ‘family’.

But then theres Beau and Noralise who has not shown any inclination to leave. Not that Noralise don’t complain. . 

And then there’s the fact that Noralise knew about Valerie tryst with Stefan and kept it from Lily.. but they don’t like Valerie. .so why keep it from Lily at all ? Its clear they like Lily more than Valerie. . it’s just. . I'm just.. what are their motivations for doing these things?

I’d really like your opinion on these questions fandom !

So Bonnie x Matt cannot happen...

Because of the Dark & Dangerous thing that Bonnie does to Matt in the last episode* which showed that she’s not the sweet, innocent Bonnie of seasons past but a scary bad-ass. But someone needs to explain to me because from what I’ve read this was basically what the same ‘Stop his heart/Bring him back to life’ spell that Bonnie did to Jeremy in the S3 finale. When she was, arguably, still ‘sweet and innocent’. And this spell was part of the process of them getting closer together, falling back in love and eventually rekindling their relationship?

So.. How again does this dark & dangerous magic mean that Bonnie and Matt can never happen?

Didn't Bonnie know that Katherine didn't pass through her? They knew she hadn't died yet since Elena went up to check on her... This doesn't make any sense. Shouldn't Bonnie have seen this as information worth mentioning to the group?
