It's like the bad stuff never ends *sob* I didn't think I cared so much about Tyler's mom but just *sob* So I'm angry at Caroline for basically blabbing every secret that came through her to someone else. Her loyalty should be to Elena first and foremost. But I get why she does it and it's within character. She's doing what she thinks is right. I get that her and Stefan are friends but I think at this point it's more that she does what she thinks is right for her friends (Elena/Jeremy). What she did to Tyler really sucked, but she doesn't have ties to the ware-hybrids. And she also spills about Damon because she doesn't approve of Damon and Elena. She sees it as Damon taking advantage. And if you look at it from her point of view, Damon has never shown her any other side to himself other than the selfish bastard that basically used and tossed her. I like that Damon wavers, but does what he sees as the right thing in the end. For all that Stefan cares about his brother, it seems pretty clear that he's the younger brother. And he actually still gets taken care of by Damon (really the word I want to use is 寵 or あまえ). His reaction to Damon about Elena's feelings for Damon and the sire bond vs the way Damon reacts to elena's choosing Stefan really showcase this I think. And I think it's true that Damon understands Stefan a lot better than Stefan does Damon.
