After finding out what she was hoping wasn’t true, she had driven over to Lily’s in a panic. She had hoped and hoped that the pregnancy test wouldn’t read positive, and when it had, her life began to crumble before her eyes. She was an 18 year old girl. She wasn’t supposed to be a mother, not yet. And so, crying, she drove down the roads until she reached Lily’s apartment, not wanting to keep it a secret from her sister, considering who the father was. “Lily,” she said, knocking on the door, tears still coming down her cheeks. “Lily, I really need to talk to you.”
