By the time night fell, the camping grounds were littered with bodies.
A thin mist shrouded the area, the cold air pressing against Niklaus' skin. He had come for an army but was now left with nothing but corpses, and the irony of the situation was almost sickening.
Klaus' lips were pressed in a thin line, eyes flickering as he lifted his chin and found his gaze fall upon his newly-arrived companion. "And then there was one," he muttered. He'd been so close to his goal, so certain that the night would end with hybrid soldiers at his back, but in the end he was left with only the man who'd begun his journey with him.
Stefan.
Capable enough on his own, certainly, but a single comrade would not grant Klaus the power he so desired, and his anger at this failure-- at the supposed culmination of his efforts throughout the summer-- bubbled to the surface.
Body coiled in frustration, Klaus stalked towards the vampire, stopping only when they were but a handful of feet apart.
"They went rabid," he spat out, gesturing at the bodies at their feet. "I had to kill most of them; the others simply bled out.”
His hands were fisted at his sides, nails cutting bloody crescents into his palms. “I did everything I was told,” he said, and his voice was nearly trembling with rage. “Everything. And yet instead of a loyal army, I have corpses.”
A hand snatched out, lightning fast, closing around Stefan’s wrist in a steely grip. Klaus could see the gleaming blood, the curdled flesh around Ray’s bite; it had been hours since he’d been bitten. “And I have you,” he said darkly. "Though you seem to have taken your sweet time with the task I sent you on... Tell me, Stefan, was I remiss in giving you the proper incentive?”

2. Do you have pets? If so, what are they? - I had pets when I was younger (goldfishes, budgies, canary birds and a hamster lol)
3. Do you read fanfiction? - Not many! But yeah, I do read fanfictions :)
4. What environment makes you feel calm? The ocean, but almost all natural environments
5. Where have you traveled? - California, and many countries in Europe. Spain, Turkey, France, Austria
6. Whats your favorite thing about Stefan? - His good manners, I think he is a real gentleman and I like that. He respects women and knows how to treat a lady ;)

17. What do you think about Steroline as a couple ? - I can´t blame Caroline for having feelings for Stefan. He´d be the best bf. And I´d even say that it´s rather Caroline who deserves him (if you compare her to the way Elena behaves now) BUT they should just stay GOOD FRIENDS! ;)
