evil 15x20 with human cas
Slaughterhouse-Five, pg. 164 // Dean Winchester
No because fuck you there's no way in hell Dean after 6 months of agony and despair thinking about his best friend dying for him finds out he's been alive the whole time and reacts like tHAT
dean and castiel // sense and sensibility, jane austen
taglist under cut (feel free to ask to be added ^_^)
I know rumors have died down lately, but if the cw thinks they can distract me just by going bankrupt they're seriously underestimating my natural ability to annoyingly repeat "Why?" like a goddamn toddler and not give a flying fuck whether I get an honest answer or not.
So I am once again asking why the fuck was Misha in Vancouver when they shot the finale despite the covid travel ban? Why did Mark P say he shot his last scene with Misha and Alex? Why?
Another bronly had J/2 do Dean's death scene for a photo op
Making these kind of photo ops, 2 panels to glorify Dean's death and compliment each other about how great they are. No mention of Cas, Jack or others characters. TFW my ass. I'm going to be grateful for Cas & Misha only, from now on. No longer giving J*2 the benefit of the doubt
I'm sorry but I have to disagree with your opinions in their entirety
While it's absolutely horrifying to me that someone would WANT this as an op, I am a little perplexed on why the blame for an attendee's photo op request falls squarely on the actors. Having them re-enact this is on the shoulders of the person wanting the op, not the actors - their job at cons is to try and do the op as requested.
I attended the con and watched the second J2 panel (I have not yet seen the first in full, so cannot speak to the contents, but I have a feeling based on precedent what I am about to say in respect to my experience at the second applies). The panel I attended made no mention of 'glorifying Dean's death' - Jensen's body language whenever the topic of the finale came up continues to make his stance on it fairly clear. Additionally, Jensen actually very specifically noted his favorite seasons were 5-15, which are the TFW centric seasons. I personally wish that people from both sides of fandom would stop asking him finale-related questions that have been asked multiple times and focus on other details of the show, or his future/past projects. I had ten questions prepared (3 about Dean as a character and his growth, 1 specifically about 15x09 and the purgatory prayer, one about the Plight of Clownana - just to give a few examples).
Jensen is a professional actor. He is not going to trash the finale or deny a photo op request for a scene from it at a con. That is part of his job. I won't be upset with him for doing what he is employed to do.
Please remember I am a Jensen-positive blog before sending me asks such as these in the future, because if they are intended to stir up Jensen-crit, you will not like my replies.
If you guys are going to post/reblog those scripts, especially the one from 15x20, please, for the love of god, TAG IT. Some people don't want to see that. It's upsetting and triggering. I know you're angry, we all are, but this isn't exactly news, we've all known the whole time how completely fucked up the finale was, either because they cut stuff out, or just didn't include it at all. But sharing Dean's d*ath scene over and over is really insensitive to people who are upset/triggered by it.
