funfact these probably not their actual names in my canon universe (for a few reasons) i just use them because im super lazy
my dorian gray actually has a lot more personality than just being pink and sparkly i SWEAR i really was just blanking on how to decorate her profile so i panicked </3 i struggled a lot with decoration in general because the only thing going on in my brain is my jekyll and hyde special interest and literally nothing else. theres purely just maggots and rot within this brain of mine that are only kept at bay by the light of jekyll and hyde. a lighthouse fighting against an ocean of squirming bodies. its all jekyll and hyde. i try and i fail to swim
SPEAKING of decorations. decorating these was a huge problem and a part of the reason i kind of stopped this. turns out??? a lot of 'free resource' things arent actually.... free resources nor owned by the people who post them...... oops!!!!!!!!!!!!! so yeah im probably just not going to do fun and whimsy anymore until i figure out how to approach that mess
another reason i stopped these as they feel too... offical? i like to experiment a lot with my characters and their designs and story etc and i dont like being clamped down or feeling like i have to stick to one thing and these felt too big and fancy for me. i have a large amount of alternative universes where only small things change but still affect the design a lot and making just one reference didnt feel right. some universes jekyll/hyde dont have their top and bottom surgery scars, some universes hyde sometimes is a 9ft furry demon thing that probably gets mistaken as being jekylls fursona and sometimes theyre just a regular looking human thats 4.11ft. some of them utterson isnt a vigilante in and therefore doesnt have all the scars on them. some dorians have maggots in their skin and gut. it truly is a wild and vast universe we live in
dorian has tits because estrogen wouldnt of saved him it would of made her x10 worst specifically for everybody around her and i think i would like to see how that would of looked. also she gets to be a boygirl now too. also her and hyde get to make out because why not. they both have nine inch nails songs on their references theyre practically made for eachother at this point.
i havent read dorian gray in FOREVER can you tell. the fans are gonna maul me
im not familiar with xenogenders so this is my pathetic attempt at it and hyde isnt familiar with them either but i think if it knew they existed it would fuck with them heavily and use the ones i put on there. they have no flags outside of the queer identity labels and vague other things because im so stuck on how to even begin with that. all i know is jekyll isnt british and thats all i know ok. thats all i have. we're trying our best in this household ok
