I'm just gonna put these comments on MatPat's WH vid because they sum up my feelings entirely.

People-

Clown said themselves to BE NICE!! Mat's going into this completely blind, like me and probably a lot of other people who first came into the fandom! He's gonna make mistakes, he's gonna fuck up some things, and that's ok! He's a human being with flaws, just like the rest of us!! Making these redundantly rude posts about him is going against Clown's wishes. I'm not gonna say one side is completely right or completely wrong, but what I am saying is we shouldn't be overreacting about any of this!!

Clown doesn't need you all to be so overprotective! They can stand up for themselves!! If they have a problem, they can say it themselves. And they've said, as the commenters stated, they have no problem with Creators interacting with their project. This includes MatPat. It's the fandom disregarding their wishes they have a problem with. And Mat probably saw a post about Clown's overwhelmingness, which would probably explain why he didn't mention them by name in the video. Or maybe, he just forgot to! If we inform him in a non-aggressive manner, he'll get the message much clearer and he'll fix any mistakes he made.

Just like this comment said, most of the comments on his YouTube video are very understanding while you guys are going ballistic. If we're not careful, this platform's gonna turn into the next Twitter, and Lord knows I don't want that-

I've said this before, and I will say it again: It's ok to not like MatPat's videos. You are entitled to your own opinion and nobody can take that from you. But blowing things out of proportion is only gonna make things worse for both the fandom and the creator.
