The whole concept of your skin healing and piercings is so cool

Like your skin will automatically regenerate (basically magic????) and if you put a little metal thing in it to stop it from regenerating, it’ll just be like “ok metal thing is chill, sorry I freaked out”

Why the button eye? 😰😥

I . . . I was riding Daisy Bell, my horse, and I fell. Hard. The ground was covered in mulch, and I had my eyes open. Somehow, it only pierced one and not the other.

There was no one around to help me. So, I walked to the hospital, b-bleeding fast. I collapsed in the first chair.

They had fixed some of the scrapes. I wasn't bleeding out. But my eye . . . they had to remove it. It was broken, and there was no way of them fixing it.

They had a donor come in, I forget their name. But they had the same eye color and everything as me and she . . . gave me one of her eyes. They were sick, and weren't going to make it anyway but . . . I had the sick feeling that I did something bad.

So, for the next couple of weeks, I-I began to think too much about it. It was an eye, but it didn't belong to me. It wasn't mine, it shouldn't have been on me.

My avatar has one button eye and one porcelain eye. Each could work for the body I was given, but they were two seperate eyes. And this time, neither of them feel right.

S-sorry for the rant! I should probably go!

I recently got a nasallang, which is through the nostril and through the middle of the cartilage, out the other nostril. Absolutely brutal and it was an incredible experience, so anyway I drew it lol.

tags/tw: a brief mention of needles, allusions to a piercing procedure, glove kink.

you know you should be paying attention as his voice washes over you. he's talking you through what to expect, showing you the sealed sterile needle, he even cracks a joke to put you at ease. but the problem is those damned gloves.

he's snapped on a pair of black nitrile gloves and you can't stop staring at the way they stretch obscenely over the back of his hands, contrasting against the skin on his forearms beautifully.

you fidget and exhale shakily when he settles on the rolling stool in front of you, an uncapped fine tipped marker held delicately between his gloved thumb and forefinger.

"ready?"

you nod and swallow the saliva pooling in your mouth.

"ready."

goosebumps erupt on your arms when you feel the warmth of his hand leaking through the smooth surface of his glove as it brushes against your skin. you stifle a sigh in your throat. fuck.

you close your eyes and breathe slowly through your nose, revelling in his delicate touch, anticipating his next move. there's a light touch of the marker against your skin before you hear the stool squeak as he moves to pick something up.

"there we go. take a look at the placement for me."

you open your eyes and blink at your reflection before your eyes move to the edge of the mirror gripped by his fingers.

"yeah. looks good." you breathe.

you miss the way his eyes dart from your lips to your dilated pupils, but you don't miss the way his fingers flex slightly.

(and you know that later tonight after you've appreciated the new metal adorning your body, you'll edge yourself to the memories of his voice and the feel of his hands on your body.)
