at first it was just a sketch to improve how i draw wrinkles and uh. here we are

This is Glaucus Atlanticus, or the blue dragon sea slug! It’s my favorite type of slug. It’s a remarkable creature, that floats across the sea using an inflatable gas sack. It preys on Physalia physalis, or the portuguese man o’ war jellyfish. It can repurpose the sting cells of the jellyfish to be used as a defense mechanism, so definitely don’t pick one up if you see it!

This is the first installment of cool creatures that actually exist on our planet, and I’ll try to post more!
