As someone from DC, much of the Hetalia fandom lacks the nuances of growing up in such a place; especially in regards to the character of America/Alfred. America/Alfred would have a secret service detail, many of the events he would go to would be high security events, he would probably LIVE IN DC or in the area, he would give tributes at US leader’s funerals and would be in the front row alongside the family and presidents, BE WOULD HAVE A MEMORIAL LIBRARY AT THE VERY LEAST, he would adore DC sports teams and would probably want to meet Jaiden Daniels irl, at the Easter egg roll he would dress up as the Easter bunny and run around with the kids on the White House lawn, AND HE WOULD HAVE A COLLECTION OF PICTURES WITH THE PRESIDENTS. That man would live and breathe DC and I STAND BY MY TRUTH!
