monty tortured and sodomized tyler in ep 13. i didn’t see it bc i already knew the road he was going down,and it didn’t feel as important to watch his parts at that point. i just thought he was getting beat up again, i wasn’t able to tell the extent of it.

like... what the fuck? how was that necessary?

 i think perhaps, they were trying to justify why tyler would go to such lengths to achieve some type of personal/public justice by taking lives but, i think that kid has been through so much alienation, to just have monty beat him up a little could’ve done the job. and i know that monty has a screwed up abuse situation at home but nope. no excuses. he’s demonic and deserves worse than hell. tyler is still shitty too, but... that wasn’t okay.

and talking about tyler, even tho he sucks and he is one of the irredeemables from s1 for me, it really rubbed me the wrong way how the tape club (clay, zach, jessica, justin) made him so isolated, like he was so different even when he showed contrition, especially at alex’s party. if alex invited him, he deserved to be there. that wasn’t okay, either. 

i thought the show had learned it’s lesson with scenes like that, but i guess i was wrong.
