Kaeya tilted the tip of your chin up to look at him.

“Scared, little firefly? …You don’t have to be scared of me, you know. I promise I don’t bite.” He smirked, leaning in close to your ear. You could feel your cheeks heat up in nervousness, listening to the playful lilt in his voice. Almost as if he enjoyed teasing you.

“N-No. Not at all. Why would I be afraid of you? Y-You're not making any sense, darling." You stammered, looking back up at him stubbornly, trying to avert your gaze and pushing yourself toward the wall.

"Stop lying. I can hear that voice crack... you know what happens when you, of all people, lie, don't you?" His hand moved up to cup your chin, stroking it gently with his thumb and cornering you against the cold cement.

That wretched smile got your stomach fluttering every single time – your breath hitching as he tilted your chin up with the gentlest touch; to look him directly in the eyes. It was terrifying, but... exciting. Your heart raced, as you hungrily lapped up the attention he was giving you.

"Don't you want to answer me?" He pouted.

"You say that like an attention starved man."

"My angel doesn't want to answer me... of course I'm starved." He laughed, stroking your cheek and leaning forward to your ear; voice hushed to a low whisper.

"Now... wouldn't you like to put a man out of his misery?"

"We wouldn't want you feeling unsatisfied, Mr Alberich." You giggled, his hand on your chest as he pulled you towards him

"No... we certainly wouldn't."

Summary: After his experiment, Dr. Michael Morbius thought he was alone, however hes soon proven wrong when a playfull lizard scientist enters his life.

A/n: went to see Morbius today. I have a New f/o. Enjoy

After his...accident, Dr. Michael morbius felt out of place, as if he was the only non-human.

Of course there were other mutants, but none like him, he sighed putting the pen down and resting his forehead against his palms.

It was maybe about half past eight pm. Maybe he could get some food and have an excuse to take his workaholic ass out of his Seat.

Of course,the only thing he needed was blood. Wether it was artificial blood or actual blood. But he wasnt planning on leaving actual food behind.

As he got up, one of his pet bats sat on his arm nuzzling his cheek.

Chuckling he put the small creature down on his desk and draped a black trenchcoat over him.

The air was cold, he took a deep breath and looked around, the leaves falling on the ground, the small vapor his breath produced... there was something cozy about it. Something that reminded him he was still human.

He went to Grab some take out and as he returned to his lab he heard skittering near an alley.

Turning his head to the side he called out -- hello?

In response only more skittering was heard.

So, he used his echolocation, and as he let out a breath, the soundwaves showed him a figure, stuck to the wall, watching him.

--i can see you-- morbius said-- I mean you no harm

The figure got to the ground and Walked slowly closer to him.

As soon as the street lamps light hits the figure, he sees a woman, Brown hair tied back, a black trenchcoat with spikes And some ripped jeans and combat boots-- Dr. Morbius? -- said the woman-- Im Jerico...I need to talk to you?

-- why is that? -- morbius asked.

--...because youre not the only one using animal dna...-- Jericos eyes Turned reptile like, scales appearing around her face.

He nodded-- right this way, please

He guides her back to his laboratory, putting the food on his desk.

The bats didnt seem to notice her as jerico sits infront of Michael.

-- want some? -- he asked.

--If its not too much trouble

He pushed the take out closer to her--so...about what you wanted to talk about

Jeris expression turns somber-- Well, I was just like you, looking for a way to re-generate parts of the body, and though my experiments didnt have as much as a...side effects...lets call it.. as yours did, I thought that maybe we...could help eachother

-- your eyes...were lizard-like back there...did you use lizard cells?

She nodded-- they can re grow a whole tail...I thought that If I could apply those dna sequences to human dna...well, it could change the world...

--but there were side effects werent there?

She nodded-- Well, mine are subtle, but maybe I could apply my research to yours...and we can help eachother

Morbius thought for a moment, looking her up and down, maybe it wasnt such a bad idea after all.

-- deal, now...shall we eat?-- he asked sitting just a little bit closer to jeri.

--Please..im starving!

Jerico didnt take long to move her equipment to his lab, one side for each of them, and she was, quite frankly, fun to be around.

She could relate to Michael's experience, to some degree, and she was quite helpfull to Keep his..."vampiric side" Under controll.

-- so, the side effects of your mutation are, Athletic capabilities, heightened strenght, the ability to stick to walls, become invisible and dark vision?

--uh-huh-- said jeri-- I told you that like three times already

Morbius smiled cheekly-- I know, I just like to think that I at least dont become invisible when I get scared...specially of tiny little things like...-- he Turned his face into his more vampire like, jer lets out a squeak before going invisible.

-- youre so mean!-- exclaimed jerico standing up, still invisible, to hit Michael playfully.

--But you let out the cutest of squeaks!-- he answered, trying to block the soft attacks.

--Youre just-- oh shit!-- jeri loses her balance, tripping over the Mans legs that were kicking around, she falls ontop of him and her invisibility drops.

Morbius can hear her heart fasten, her cheeks turning Pink.

Neither of them say a Word as morbius feels his cheeks warm up.

She just stands up, and goes back to eat, in silence, not a Word uttered.

Some hours later,jeri went to the rooftop to clear her mind.

Breathing in the crisp fall air, her shoulders relax, and sits on the brick handrail of no more than three feet of height.

--Good evening-- Michael announced himself as he sat with her-- how are you feeling..?

-- im...im okay, no hard feelings about what happened some hours ago, just, yknow...awkward?

He nodded-- I gotta admit..I was worried I mightve fucked up the only relationshipp I have where someone isnt scared of me...

--scared of you? Who could be scared of you? -- asked jeri incredulously.

--A lot of people are scared of me, of my bloody red eyes, sharp teeth, palid skin...-- he sat ever so closer, slowly taking her hands-- of my sunken cheeks and ear shattering screams...

One of his hands Cup her cheek, the other sneaks around her waist.

-- Is this...your idea of flirting Dr.Morbius?-- Jerico teased leaning closer.

He also leaned in, cheeky smile on his lips-- well, ive seen the way you look at me when I transform...-- he muttered-- if I wasnt mistaken..those looked like bedroom eyes...

She rolls her eyes-- what if they are huh? What if I find that thing you say people are scared of kind of attractive huh? What if whenever you turn into your vampire form I find myself blushing? What are you going to do about it?

With his cheeks red, Michael says-- Tease...-- before pulling her closer to him.

--dork...-- jer muttered kissing him, arms around his neck as her lizard like tail appears, wrapping around his leg.

With a soft sigh they break the kiss, he holds her close to his chest, letting out a breath as she relaxes against him.

They held eachother for a little bit before the wind started to pick up.

Morbius Turned off the lights of his lab, going to rest on the comfy bed jerico had gotten for the both of them.

It was a queen sized matress, their shared bedroom was actually quite nice, and sure. Maybe that shared matress was what solidified his attraction to jeri, he liked to hold her against him, just like he was doing now, seeing her trying to fall asleep.

With a smile, he buries his face on her hair.

Maybe Dr. Michael Morbius wasnt alone anymore. He wasnt a monster. He had found someone just like him, that loved him just like he was
