#what happened? oh. i was supposed to receive several thousands pounds from HMRC as a repayment. it's gone. now i OWE them thousands #i am absolutely fuming. everyone i've spoken to says it must be an error - professionals and colleagues alike - but oh my god #you want to know how they did it? they told me they'd removed tax deductions i'd allegedly placed on my tax return from several years ago #but those tax deductions? never made em OR heard of em. and what kind of tax deductions?? for CONSTRUCTION WORKERS!!!!#I -WRITE- FOR A LIVING. THEY KNOW THAT. AND THEY THINK I WAS CLAIMING TAX DEDUCTIONS FOR TRADESPEOPLE? 💀💀💀💀💀#i know mistakes happen and it's not the poor folks on the helplines' fault - they're just trying to make a living too #but the sheer level of incompetence i have encountered ever since becoming fully self-employed and freelance is s t a g g e r i n g #i am raising hell with my union and the craft guild i'm part of and even sent a letter today saying i won't be paying it #if they get away with this the bastards will have ripped just shy of £10000 from me which would decimate my savings #the amount of artists who've told me they've had similar problems is actually crazy. soulless harpies the people at HMRC #apologies for ranting it's just been. Whoever decided to get rid of the headphone jack in favor of all headphones either being bluetooth or needing to be plugged in VIA THE CHARGING PORT is an absolute fucking Bitch.

I hope their socks are perpetually wet, their pillow is never cold, I hope they lose all the cash in their wallet and that they fall for a discord friend request scam and lose access to their accounts. welp - I failed my test

I failed my theory test because of a miscommunication ON THEIR END.

Absolutely nailed the questions. Hazard perception fucked me over. The training videos AND the practice video all tell you not to over-click the buttons because otherwise you'll be penalized and score 0 on each video. So I clicked once MAYBE twice for each hazard.

The advisor after told me I'd failed because I didn't click the videos enough and that I should be clicking 4-5 times PER hazard... which has never been communicated to me.

So on the journey home my crashout looked between hysterical!Lute and defeated!Angel:

Yep - that looks about right. I am so fucking angry that I cannot stop crying and just want to scream. I now need to rebook a test that feels like wasted money - with barely any dates available for 1-2 months. I have been studying for months now. This feels so unfair.
