((So I know I’ve been pretty absent here. Between my other account and work I’ve been a little busy but I’m still here and active! And I wanted to share some pictures from work! I work at a bee store and these are our hard working girls! I got to visit the bee garden and it’s always so much fun. Maybe one day I’ll have my own hive :)
It was very exciting because when we were there, two swarms happened! So that first picture that’s a little hard to see, that’s a ball of bees getting ready to find a new home! The Queen is safely in the middle of all of them.
Fun fact: When bees are swarming, they’re at their most docile actually. They’re so full of honey that they’re pretty sluggish and too fat to bend over and sting. Just leave them be and they’ll move on to a new home soon, or call a bee keeper to relocate them if you ever see a swarm like this. ^-^
