Whumptober 02: Blinded
“I fucking told you not to do what you just did. Now we’re both fucked. You’re fucking idiot Rian.”
Rian shrugged his shoulders and started to dig a hole deep down in the abandoned lot. Hearing one of Leo’s friends or his latest fling start speaking up. “Oh my fucking- well you please tell this woman to the shut the fuck up! Why are you even here right now!?” He shouted as he held the shovel in his hand, stopping to look at her.
Leo grunted and groaned as he made his way to his front door. Hoping his wife and his kid/s weren’t inside. He tried to hold himself up as strong as he possible could as his hand held against the bullet wound he had in the side of stomach. He made it into his home, blood droppings were surrounding the outside and now the inside of the home. He let out a breath as he reached to turn on the sink. Once he turned on the water, He fell onto the floor as his strength had given out on him. He closed his eyes as his head leaned back against the sink’s under cabinets. He let out a few breaths, more hums then full on breaths. He still holding onto his wound as he opened his eyes to look at the wound. He let out a angry grunt.

The color of blood is related to the amount of oxygen bound to the blood cell. The more oxygen, the brighter the red. The less oxygen, the darker the red to an almost black color. It is completely normal to have your blood color appear to be black, it just means that the blood is lacking oxygen, and most likely on its way back to your heart and lungs.
As for the open scab, it’s always a good idea to apply pressure to stop the bleeding and let the wound scab over. However, if it persists and is not healing, then you should see a doctor. It could just be taking a longer time to heal, but a professional opinion is suggested in case there’s another reason. Make sure to keep the wound clean, but also expose it to air to heal quickly. Hopefully it’ll heal up in no time!
