I hate my body and my body hates me. 

Pretty sure I just spent the last two hours passing a kidney stone. TMI? Probably, but it’s just another fucking thing on my list of issues. I’ve never had one before so idk. All I know is that because of my kidney defect, I’m more prone to them. 

They’re also linked to migraine medication, which I’ve been on for months. So yea.

It’s Okay, He’s Okay || Open

Gill had spent the past few days back at Waffle Island after a distressing call from the island’s doctor. His father had fallen ill. Now, he was back in Leuda at the request of his father, but not feeling any better about anything.

“Go. You’re no good to me pacing the floor here. I’ll be fine. I have a competent staff and an even more competent son. I want you to go back to Leuda and take care of your life there. You can’t spend forever taking care of your old man.”

“D-Da-”

“No. I’ve humored you enough. Go back. I’ll be fine.” 

Gill wouldn’t exactly call himself, “a daddy’s boy,” but Hamilton was the last family Gill had, the last real connection he had. He’d never even considered a life without him. 

He’d be fine, Gill just had to believe that. 

He got off the boat with a long expression on his face and he stared down at the ground as he pulled his bags behind him back to the home he shared with Elli and her brother. No doubt they’d be very loud... maybe that was what he needed. 

However, even as the thought entered his mind, Gill’s body turned, as if on it’s own, for the board walk where he found the nearest bar and started drinking, as if by doing so he could wash his problems away.
