oh...

there are a few people i follow on this blog that haven't been active in 5+ years. they were good friends, partners who really leapt into this world with me. i don't expect them to come back, but i never wanted to unfollow them, forget them. one of them had nearly a hundred threads with me on my occult oc blog alone, we joked about making it to a million threads someday. it was also nice to just... be able to look back on our writing. i never got the chance to reblog some of the things we did to my "saved" tag and now... they're gone. they must have deleted recently, in the last week. both their blogs, gone. not logged into for 5+ years but suddenly deactivated. just... something about it stings, makes me sad. i miss you, tony. i miss you A.D., and nuriko, and ophelia. writing here for so long... not just this blog, but on tumblr since 2009... it's like watching friends come and go sometimes.

i'm working in drafts for the rest of the night... thank you to all of you that talk and write with me. i know i can sometimes be slow with responding to both replies and private messages, but be assured i am always happy to hear from you.

i'm almost under 50 drafts... gonna see if i can't hit the 40s before the weekend.

an ebullient high fae bounded across the stones of the outside balcony. adorned in a glimmering, silver gown, niamh thought herself the mirror image of the cosmos hovering overhead. thus, glowing under the light of the stars, a smile greeted passing faces, making their approach towards the balcony's edge for a better view of velaris below. the music piles from the earth, golden notes glittering and dancing their way up a spiral staircase until, seemingly, they disappear into the starlit sky. a cool night breeze caresses their face, lifting the waist - length, onyx colored hair to reveal delicately arched ears, decorated in silver gems matching those that dripped from every surface of her body.

sharp eyes took in the current, tranquil environment as a chance to relax their tightly - held shoulders. her thoughts kept returning to her sister ⎯ callista ⎯ and how delighted she would have been in this moment. the sight of the stars paled in comparison to faint memories of her effervescent smile. a melancholic grin played upon their lips as her gaze returned to the throngs of people wandering around the high lady's house. did their beloved sister accompany the spirits on their yearly trek across the sky? had she come the brightest star hovering overhead, keeping a keen eye on herself and . . . sabina. as if callista had created this moment for the two to lay eyes on each other for the first time since she had left them.

faint clicks of heels echoed off the stone floors, heart racing as she drew nearer. the commander's eyes narrowed on the woman, stony expression suddenly softening as they realized she had found a kindred spirit to share their company. ❝ would it be out of character to tell you you look radiant tonight? i hardly recognized you without blood smeared across your face. ❞

really sucks when life is so busy you can’t even get on to write. i have so many blogs i want to actively write on, yet by the time i get home and eat dinner i just want to sleep. it’s just... disheartening. to say the least. i love and miss all of you and i just want to write with you, but i feel like i can’t give my followers and rp partners anything like i used to. like oof all i want to do is be happy but??? ya feel?
