Walk MS connects people living with MS and those who care about them.
Okay guys, this is very important to me.
Almost 6 years ago I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I am asking you to support me in Walk MS because this is a cause that is meaningful to me. Millions of people are affected by MS and the challenges of living with its unpredictable symptoms. Multiple sclerosis interrupts the flow of information between the brain and the body and it stops people from moving. Every hour in the United States, someone is newly diagnosed with MS, a disease of the central nervous system. Symptoms range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are moving us closer to a world free of MS.
It is a disease that we are still learning from and we have come so far in medicines and treatments and I hope one day there will be a cure.
So until then, every year I will raise money and walk for myself and others like me. I am close to my goal, a little over a hundred bucks away, every few dollars counts and would mean soooo much!
