There are unforeseen complications to having a strict restricted and private property to any and all citizens. For instance, it’s a very long walk to get the mail (mailpeople, like all people, are not permitted access on the grounds). This is a rare moment wherein Wonka may be seen outside his chocolate factory, yet, still on his property (meaning, his legendary identity is very much intact).

The mail, on the other side of the gate, is a meter out of his arm’s reach. He stretches his arm and cane out as far as they can go. A hair shy. To get the mail, Wonka would have to open the gate. To open the gate, Wonka would have to walk all the way back to the factory.

Unless...

He sees someone walk by.

A small frown came to their face as watched the figure before them. From where they stood in the shadows, they couldn’t see them completely. They weren’t an adult, that much they could tell, and they certainly weren’t a monster.

Chara lingered in the shadows a bit longer. It had been so long since a human had fallen, and they were curious just what this person would do.
