i LOVED the bit where Thomas wakes up Newt in the morning, it was hilarious, and the ending was just too heart-warming, I understand why you like them :)

1, 2 and 14 about the soulmate/reincarnation AU with the book about the Gladers you wrote for Minewt? It was such an interesting concept!

1. What was the inspiration for the fic?

Well the whole reincarnation + meeting at a book signing was part of a prompt I got given absolutely ages ago and I just couldn’t work out a way to make it work until I was talking to someone about soulmate au’s and it just hit me that making Minho and Newt soulmates from a past life could work pretty well! I’m not really sure how I came up with the concept of the soulmate au, how only one of them would remember their past life until they touched, but I was just plotting out the fic and it just sort of happened out that way?

2. What’s your favourite part of the fic?

My favourite part is either when Minho and Newt meet at the very end of the fic, or when Thomas wakes Newt up really early in the morning to tell him he know’s who his soulmate is - They were the parts that were the most fun to write

14. If you were to write a sequel to this fic, what would it be about?

I think if I ever did a second part it’d either be about their lives a few months later, when everyone know’s that Minho only wrote the book so that he could try and find Newt and they’re trying to start up a relationship with people constantly trying to interrupt them on the streets and in their day-to-day lives. Because I can imagine it must be a little bit odd for them too, because they can remember each other from a completely different time, so for Minho, the Newt that he remembers is probably quite different to the Newt that he’s getting to know now, so I guess i’d like to look into how they’d cope with that? Trying to get to know each other again whilst people they don’t even know want to hear all about their story
