tiktok makes me want to tear my eyes out how can u be so ignorant to a movie's blatant message i don't care if i sound pretentious midsommar is NOT a 'good for her' movie you stupid sluts
your little jokes about it being a 'good for her' movie don't exist in a vacuum and could very well sway people into thinking situations they may have been born into or pulled into are normal i fucking hate you people so much

TRIGGER WARNING: PSYCHOLOGICAL ABUSE
This week's topic is psychological abuse in the COG-TFI cult. It was rampant, institutionalized, and extreme, with lifelong effects for many survivors.
Every year in April, ‘Child Abuse Prevention Month’ is observed in America and is dedicated to raising awareness and preventing child abuse.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), child abuse and child maltreatment is defined as "all forms of physical and/or emotional ill-treatment, sexual abuse, neglect or negligent treatment or commercial or other exploitation, resulting in actual or potential harm to the child's health, survival, development or dignity in the context of a relationship of responsibility, trust or power."
Throughout the month of April we will be examining how the Children of God aka The Family International cult, seriously harmed and mistreated thousands of children worldwide through neglect and the infliction of physical, psychological and sexual abuse upon them.

#About Us
We, #cogtfisurvivors, are a group of survivors of the extremist cult, the Children of God, more recently known as The Family International. While we are located in multiple countries, across 5 continents, we have come together this year to achieve our common goals:
1. Raising awareness of how this cult operates: its methods of recruitment, deception, fraudulent practices, and the various covers they use to mask their operations.
2. Exposing the crimes, past and present, of the cult.
3. Appealing to relevant authorities to hold the cult's leadership - in particular, cult co-founder and current leader, Karen Zerby - responsible for their actions.
COG/TFI has been involved in the mass abuse of children around the world since the 1960s. Children who are now adults and who need to be heard. We have decided to act now in light of the recent increase in global awareness (MeToo and the Epstein case, amongst others) of the damages caused by abuse, and the need for exposure, validation and justice, no matter how much time has passed.
We are also determined to expose the lies of COG/TFI, an organisation that has tried to rebrand itself as a mainstream, Christian non-profit organisation, whilst hiding its past crimes and continuing to glorify the perpetrators who committed them.

cliffs edge & one bad night :D
Hi!! Thank you for the questions! :)
Cliffs Edge - have you ever been in love? what color is love? Oh god, yes. It’s the best thing ever, even if it’s not always reciprocated. As for color... the cotton candy pinks and blues that mingle together at the perfect moment during a sunset...
One Bad Night - are you a morning person or a night owl? daydreamer or night dreamer? Oh god pt. 2, for a different reason hahaha. I’d say I’m hmm. I’m both really? I’m a night owl in the sense that I just tend to stay awake, but I’m also a morning person because that’s when I’m most productive. Hence me staying up until 1am most nights this semester and waking up at 6:45 hahaha. And I’m for sure a daydreamer, I never remember my night dreams anyway
