Unpopular opinion: Part of me never wants to see Negan come back into the comics. I mean, I miss the giant dumbass, but I'm honestly anxious about what Kirkman would do with him at this point.
He got a good ending in 174. Probably a better ending than he deserved (at least in some folks' eyes), and I'd love to leave him there. At peace. On his own for a while.
If he gets brought back into the series we might find that he's not so content. Or he'll be killed.
I'd rather have my happy, solitary Negan memories tbh.
