i agree on the fact that gimple is a shitty screenwriter and that killing carl was a bullshit decision, but let's not blame it on negan. if the show was about negan's backstory, we would've see team family as the main antagonists. It's not like rick is crystal clear and morally stable. every character has its flaws and let's just accept that. And tbh, even negan's tv adaptation from the comic was not that well done. So let's just stop being so negative and agree that not everything's perfect!!

Ricks moral aint clear true but he doesn’t coercive rape women, rule over people with an iron like fist and burn his group members with irons. or make entire communities give him more than half of their food and supplies that they need. also 90% every violent thing Rick has done was him defending himself and team family from fucking murderous assholes who pushed team family into a corner. (shane, claimers(poor carl), terminus, ect)if i watched this version of the show for some reason, and then was introduced to team family later id be like “oh thank god some characters i can care about” lol3.“every character has its flaws and let’s just accept that” i do accept that. people dont want to accept that when it comes to team family tho tbh like people criticize rick more than negan…and my reasons for hating negan goes beyond him being ‘flawed’ its more cus ya know….everything about him and what hes done and who hes killed.
