Favorite 2024 Caryl Moments

My dear fellow carylers, 2024 was a beautiful Caryl year to a lot of us and I just wanted to take a final moment to celebrate it before the year is over (at least, on my time zone).

This year, our Carol and Daryl...

Got reunited on fucking France because their love knows no boundaries:

Had some caryl-branded talks where there's so much unsaid going on that we feel a little voyeuristic to witness it (and looked damn good while at it):

Behaved like the old married couple they are and got called on it:

Thought that the other was interested on someone else because they are the definition of idiots in love:

Killed a bunch of villainous people and ugly walkers:

Gave a lost kid and a lost man a second chance to have a family:

And promised to be together for whatever it comes next because they are each other's home.

In honor of finishing season 1 of the walking dead: daryl dixon, i'd like to talk about my favorite french things from the show:

• the cristaline water bottle, Daryl has tasted france

• "where is Brian? Brian is in the kitchen" line, i have a lotta respect for the person that put that line there - thank you.

Have the creators of The Last of Us tried suing AMC over the TWD: Daryl Dixon plot yet? A grumpy older man comes across a child that a select group of people view as special and believe to be immune to a zombie virus, and then the series revolves around him protecting said child? C'mon, AMC.

so according to people with screeners daryl has no love interest in s3 but according to promo interviews it’s heavily implied that it’s all leading up to him finding love (or deciding to try) in s4-so are they planning on introducing some new love interest for him at the eleventh hour? what’s the whole “he doesn’t jump into relationships, he’s a penguin who mates for life” thing about then? I’m just #noticing

i love how the main series rationed out the 'fucks' they dropped in real military fashion, but twd:dd has norman reedus shouting them out left right and centre
