✨JEALOUS SOKKA✨
✨JEALOUS SOKKA ✨
✨JEALOUS SOKKA✨
To be clear, Toph has ZERO interest in Tagah… but the vibrations coming from Sokka are too much fun to stop. Do you think Sokka knows? 😂
I’m back babes!

when you see your little kitty walking toward you at a leisurely pace and say "hi baby!" bc you're excited to see her and she starts trotting a little bit faster 'cause she's excited to see you too. that's what life is all about i think
sokka on that airship after zuko told him to take the helm
clear, no blur version after the cut :))
As a Sokka fan, I actually can't stand the airship scene. You're telling me that SOKKA, the man behind the collapse of the Drill, the eclipse invasion, and the take down of the Fire Nation's airship fleet isn't the one to break into action and form a plan in the moment of crisis? Seriously??
I love Zuko and as a kid, I crushed on him just as much as I did Sokka, but the way Sokka was reduced to comic relief in the movie while Zuko was beefed up (both physically and in his roll) is SO IRRITATING.

“There’s a cure?!” asked the girl that kills everything she touches. “Hey shut up we’re perf” replied the girl that makes clouds.
For real though. Storm has stopped an entire tsunami before. “Makes clouds my ass” she can conjure lightning and tornadoes and is revered as a god in her tribe. She literally changes atmospheric pressure and that’s how she flies. So fuck you. Storm is flawless.
I think you missed the part where the GIRL WHO KILLS EVERYTHING SHE TOUCHES wants to NOT KILL EVERYTHING SHE TOUCHES and everyone dismisses her incredible misfortune just because the lady who is the AVATAR OF THE STORM won the fucking SUPERPOWER LOTTERY
And here we see X-Men perfectly illustrating the disparity between the larger disability community (Storm) and the chronic illness community (Rogue). One wants society to accept & respect them & their various different needs, which is surely a noble cause, while the other would like to NOT BE IN PAIN EVERY FUCKING DAY, which is just as important but often gets shouted down by non-ill disabled people who only want to talk about disability as a social construct.

GUYS WHAT IF WE GET ANOTHER BETHYL INSIPIRED SONG JUST LIKE LAST CHANCE?? THIS FEELS LIKE CHRISTMAS
Carmy getting all those culinary career flashbacks in S3 when it all just boiled down to the moment Syd came into his life as the most important thing that happened in his career.
He gives away his notebooks of all his exploits to Marcus.
He finally found the love and purpose he’d been looking for all along at The Bear.
Who won two stars. But he knows how to retain them.
Tokka sailing on, slowly but it is sure as hell steady as anything, just like their relationship...yeah
my most Millennial trait is that i want big screen to think properly. to compose my thoughts. app exists for your thing but no website? bad bad bad not good for think, need big screen for think. i wrote this post on the small screen btw
Donna asked Pete that question in S5 about the Sydcarmy of it all and the media response to that was to pretend the show was hating on Sydcarmy shippers, when it’s the exact opposite.
It just shows how the media wrote the show off and was trying to force a white ship or the idea Syd and Carmy are “besties” right to the very end.
It’s why they didn’t give them the last episode to review. They let them tell on themselves and it was genius.
Syd told Donna in S4’s Bears that she was going to get her restaurant and that she cares very deeply about her son.
Donna leaves immediately after talking to Syd.
Donna then requests that Nat bring the box of photos from the basement of the restaurant early and it annoys Nat because it interrupted her domestic bliss, and she makes Carmy do it.
Syd backs her up.
Carmy knows Syd talked to Donna at the wedding.
In Tonnato, Donna unpacks the box right in front of Carmy and goes through a list of their relations and where they came from and she realizes they’re all terrible.
Carmy doesn’t even have to say anything.
Donna tells him the story about how his still unnamed dad was terrible on their honeymoon and made it awful for her.
Carmy lets her unload and then he asks her if she’s okay and cooks for her.
Donna has figured several things out at this point.
Her son is a stranger to her, but also that Syd is the person that makes him feel safe, and he’s not going to react to her the way he used to.
So Donna asking Pete that question in S5 is informed by all of this observation and information.
She knows they’re in love with each other already.
She’s just trying to figure out who else knows.
Because neither Syd or Carmy are telling their families about this.
But it wasn’t like a “gotcha” that Sydcarmy wasn’t real.
It was making fun of the people and media who keep pretending it wasn’t always presented that way.
Same thing with Marcus and Luca hoarding all the spoons. Not going to spoon-feed an audience who hates what they’re serving.
They are on a date
