fun fact: Ben’s “FUCK YOU KENNY” monologue was written into the game after the first few test audiences overwhelmingly chose to save him in the tower and self-reported that they felt his story never culminated. The monologue was written to give the player a possible sense of closure based on Ben’s catharsis, and sure enough, subsequent test audiences tended to drop him at a ~50/50 rate.
