No school today because it's conference day at EVC. Woke up to my momma calling - she had to go to the ER. They think maybe a reaction to a med? She's doing OK now though. Went to pick up prescriptions. Got us Starbucks holiday drinks WITH SPRINKLES OMG so that took the day up a couple notches. This child argued with me in public that -- this is horrendous -- Rudolph isn't a "real" reindeer, wasn't one of the originals, just worked one night. Blasphemy. I argued back with the energy of the guy and the Wizard of Oz "she came down in a bubble, Doug!!" 🤣🤣🤣 Mom pretended she didn't know us. Then to top it off, this child says "hey mom, look, you can buy these dates since you can't ever get a real one of your own." Lol. She's lucky I'm such a kind and forgiving saint, I tell you. Got momma some extra benadryl and stuff at the Bimart. She's feeling ok but not great. So she went home to rest. She's a national treasure, so send good vibes to protect her. But only medium vibes to the tween. She's mean today.
