your enemy shinso, is hosting a party and, of course, you weren't invited. not that you wanted to go anyway, but it made it even worse that you two were neighbors. the loud music blasted outside his house, leaking through your bedroom window. you were in bed, cozy, and trying to read a book until a pebble hit your window. you ignored it, thinking it was someone from the party trying to be a smart ass until another pebble was thrown at your window, this one catching your attention. you darted your eyes towards the window and saw a purple haired boy climbing on the sturdy tree that connects to your window. it was shinso. you paused for a minute before finally opening the window for him. he climbed in before crawling in bed beside you. the two of you had been sneaking around for a while, and no one knew.
“what are you doing here?” you ask rudely, “don't you have other girls to entertain?”
“you're the only girl i want to entertain,” shinso replied, a smirk forming on his face.
“quit lying to me,” you rolled your eyes at him.
“who said i was lying?” he responded, getting comfortable on your bed. “if i was lying, do you think i’d be sneaking over to your window right now, instead of being at the party that i hosted?”
“depends, how many other girls’ windows do you sneak into?” you hissed jokingly.
he chuckled at your response, leaning forward to be closer to you. “just yours, obviously. you think i have time for other girls?”
“probably,” you mumbled, “what are you doing here anyway? why aren’t you at your own party?” you asked, putting your book down on top of your stomach.
he laid down more, taking up most of your bed. “that stupid party sucks. it’s noisy and crowded, i can barely move without bumping into somebody. wanted to get away from it.”
“awww and be with me??” you smiled cheekily.
he smirked, moving the book on your stomach and wrapped an arm around your waist, pulling you close to him. “damn right,” he sighed, “i’d rather spend time with you than those loud, irritating people any day.”
you snuggled yourself into shinso as he reeled you in. you placed your arm and leg over top of his body while you laid on his chest.
“well, m’glad you came then,” you spoke sweetly, taking in on his sweet scent.
he held you tight against him, his hand rubbing up and down your spine as he enjoyed your presence. the soft, comforting feeling of your body against his was the perfect contrast to the chaotic party that was still going on next door. he nuzzled his head into you, his lips brushing against your forehead.
“there’s nowhere else i’d rather be,” he hummed.
you giggled at him, looking into his low, dark eyes as you gave him a kiss. he hummed against your lips, savoring the feeling. the kiss deepened as he gently slid his tongue between your lips. but the kiss was put to an end as you heard your parents knocking on your door.
“yes ma’am?” you yelled, pecking one more kiss onto shinso’s lips.
shinso could hear the muffled voices on the other side of the door, his heartbeat quickening. he knew if your parents found out about him being in your room, he would be in big trouble. he kissed you back quietly, hoping that your parents wouldn’t find any reason to come into your room.
once your parents didn’t reply, you knew they were about to open your door. you got up and pulled a big load of blankets and stuffed animals over shinso so they wouldn’t be able to detect his body as you opened the door. in a haste, shinso removed the cover and pressed one more peck on your lips.
“yeah, what’s up mom?” you huffed breathlessly, leaning against the door frame.
your mom stood at your door with a concerned look on her face, your dad right behind her with a straight face.
“are you alright dear? we heard a thump from your window,” your mom asked concerningly.
“oh yeah, it was just the noisy neighbors having a party,” you sighed, “everything’s good.” you tried dismissing your parents by closing the door.
your mother nodded, still looking a little skeptical, but your reassurance seemed to put her at ease for the moment. just as you were about to close the door, your dad’s voice suddenly piped up from behind your mother.
"wait a minute, who else is in your room?"
“no…one?” you replied dumbfoundedly, trying to make it seem like your dad was crazy.
your father rolled his eyes at your poor attempt to deny it, he saw right through you. he took a step forward, forcing the door open and causing you to stumble backward.
"then what's that?" he pointed toward the lump in your bed, clearly knowing that there was something hiding under the covers.
“a big load of blankets, see watch,” you said as you jumped on top of shinso, feeling his hard bony body.
he let out a small yelp as you threw yourself on top of him, causing a few stuffed animals to fall onto the floor. your parents exchanged a skeptical look before your dad took a few steps forward.
"then why are you trying to dismiss us if it's just a bunch of covers?"
“i wasn’t. i was just… wrapping your guy’s christmas gift?” you admitted, sitting on the bed.
your dad raised an eyebrow, clearly not buying your excuse about the fake gifts. in fact, he looked even more suspicious.
“in the middle of march, huh? so, you're telling me there's nothing under those covers but a bunch of presents? then you won't mind me lifting the covers up, right?" he questioned, walking towards the cover.
“go ahead,” you got up from the bed, hoping a miracle would happen right about now.
your dad nodded and took hold of the covers, ready to lift them up and expose shinso hiding underneath. shinso's heart was racing, knowing that any moment now, he would be discovered by your parents. before he lifted up the covers, your parents' car started beeping loudly outside. it must’ve been those kids at the party. your dad paused, his eyes flickering toward the window where the car was beeping. he let out a sigh, clearly frustrated by the interruption.
"i swear, these damn kids at the party will never learn to be quiet," he muttered, letting go of the covers and heading towards the front door, as your mother followed him.
once you heard the front door close, you quickly slammed your door shut, lifting all the covers and stuffed animals from shinso, seeing him panting and breathing heavily from the lack of oxygen.
he sat up quickly, gasping for air as he took deep breaths. he looked at you with a wild and slightly panicked expression.
“holy shit.." he panted, his heart still pounding in his chest.
“that was close,” you breathed. “you might want to leave,” you chuckled, fixing his messy hair from the friction of the covers.
shinso was still trying to catch his breath, but he nodded in agreement. he knew that staying any longer could be dangerous for both of you.
"yeah, i should probably go before they come back," he agreed, getting up from the bed and heading towards the window.
he opened the window, one leg out of the window resting on the sturdy tree and the other leg still in your room.
“wait!” you whispered, rushing towards him as you placed a small kiss on his lips.
shinso's face flushed red, surprised by the unexpected kiss.
"just can't keep your lips off me, huh?" he chuckled jokingly, a smirk forming on his face.
his hands gently grabbed your waist and pulled you closer to him, kissing you again, slowly and deeply. you smiled into the kiss as your hands slowly moved up to his jawline, but once you heard your parents coming back into the room, he left swiftly. he climbed out the window and disappeared into the darkness. just in time, as your parents returned moments later. your mom walked over to you and gave a small smile.
“everything alright?" she asked, looking at the still-open window.
“yeah i was looking at what happened to your guy’s car. thankfully nothing,” you smiled, closing the door to your window.
your mother nodded, seeming to buy your story for now.
“alright, well, as long as nothing's wrong," she patted your back. "try to get some sleep, it's getting late." your mom then left the room, presumably to go to their bedroom.
you smiled as she closed the door. you plopped back onto your bed, seeing a text from shinso.
shinso
shinso: that was a close one wasn’t it?
you: yeah 😭
you: maybe next time i should just sneak over your room
he chuckled as he read your response, imagining the scenario of you sneaking into his room in the middle of the night. he texted back, hinting at a possible opportunity for you two to spend some time together without worrying about being caught.

If you want to live through the 'end times', don't make a scene, set your neck under the axe, pray to your creator, accept the son of source, close your eyes, and think of your loved ones watching you with pride; Pride, that you chose to accept the call home.
I am autism. I’m visible in your children, but if I can help it, I am invisible to you until it’s too late. I know where you live. And guess what? I live there too. I hover around all of you. I know no color barrier, no religion, no morality, no currency. I speak your language fluently. And with every voice I take away, I acquire yet another language. I work very quickly. I work faster than pediatric aids, cancer, and diabetes combined And if you’re happily married, I will make sure that your marriage fails. Your money will fall into my hands, and I will bankrupt you for my own self-gain. I don’t sleep, so I make sure you don’t either. I will make it virtually impossible for your family to easily attend a temple, birthday party, or public park without a struggle, without embarrassment, without pain. You have no cure for me. Your scientists don’t have the resources, and I relish their desperation. Your neighbors are happier to pretend that I don’t exist—of course, until it’s their child. I am autism. I have no interest in right or wrong. I derive great pleasure out of your loneliness. I will fight to take away your hope. I will plot to rob you of your children and your dreams. I will make sure that every day you wake up you will cry, wondering who will take care of my child after I die? And the truth is, I am still winning, and you are scared. And you should be. I am autism. You ignored me. That was a mistake.
