           ❝ that i don’t actually know, ❞ nia muses as she brings up a knee to wrap her arms around, making herself more comfortable on the couch, not one bit bothered by how close she and brainy had somehow managed to drift part way through the film. in all honesty, she’s not even the biggest fan of the star wars series, but movie night with just brainy for company? she couldn’t turn it down, and she made absolutely certain that he was aware of it being a date this time. ❝ i can google -- ❞ she’s startled into silence as he suddenly leans over and presses a kiss to her lips, ❝ --- it. ❞ lifting a hand from her leg, she bundles up a the front of his shirt and pulls him back towards her lips once more, kissing him with as much confidence as she can muster -- which is quite a feat considering how giddy she in this current moment. ❝ i thought you were never going to kiss me. ❞

"Of course you are, how could I forget." His voice trailed off as he softly rolled his eyes. His annoyance was held in, instead replacing it with directions. "Go down this hall and take a left. You know what, I'll just draw you a map of the entire building. And then I'll teach you about Google Maps."

Training to be Dreamer was hard work, both in and out of her dreams. Brainy’s mind games were no joke and Supergirl had joined him in teaching her how to fight. She knew it’d be worth it in the end, but she still felt constantly exhausted by her efforts. It did help that Brainy was there though, believing in her from the beginning. “Are we done yet?” She panted heavily, winded from the intense workout. “I think I need some water.”

     “TIME TRAVEL IS SO FASCINATING.”  She let out a sigh, a dreamy far off haze glazed over her gaze as a wistful smile pulled at her face. It was obvious she was mentally a million years away, fantasizing about what it must be like to be a jumper of times, the ability of time travel was just so... gracefully hypnotizing to her. To know that someone that knows so much, who has experienced such a completely different life than her due to advancements in technology and everything else was able to snap their fingers and go to any century they wanted. Be able to meet anyone they wanted. It was better than any scenario she could make up.  “It must feel like you’re in the stone ages because of the knowledge gap that our technology has compared to the future. It must be almost all obsolete and outdated. It--you--fascinate me, Brainy. You’re so similar to me yet we’ve lived completely different lives in completely different timelines. It’s... baffling.”
