Not frequently.

There are times where the Doctor is grateful for being the type of being he is because he doesn't need much sleep to continue running. When he does sleep, he does dream but they lean into more memory recalls or wanting to change certain outcomes. He does have frequent nightmares of the beings he has lost throughout his lives and of the War.

Love and the Doctor is a difficult subject. Because the Doctor has loved individual companions in a multitude of ways. Mostly platonic, a few romantic, and then those familial or being able to fill in that void he has caused (ie Susan or Jenny).

The Doctor, truthfully, doesn't feel like he is deserving of love. At this point in time, he is content with loneliness. He is more than okay spending the rest of his lives alone (even though we ALL know it will never be for long). He feels if he allows himself to love another (human, Gallifreyan / Time Lord, immortal, some other being etc.) he doesn't know if it could last forever even if all the cards are stacked to make it so.

He would be downright terrified of losing them in any form and he would be terrified of fully being himself with them. If they see the darker side (ie Time Lord Victorious) of him and he stays in that state, the Doctor wouldn't blame them for immediately leaving him because he would deserve it. Or if he is grief-stricken and more emotional/compassionate like he is in this face, would he be too much for them?

"I have always loved the smell and the feeling of books; old ancient textures or new freshly printed pages. In this form, I love the feeling of ivory and obsidian piano keys or a guitar string against my fingertips. And the sound of melodies from instruments of days to come or the past."

There's a laundry list that is about the size of War and Peace.

The constant moment with being a Time Lord and also a time traveler is that there's always moments where he could have stopped something from happening and didn't due to "history having to run its course" or "the paradoxes this will occur if this event will stop".

Genuinely, he wishes he could have said a final thing before a moment or when he knows someone is no longer be around to have them be alive for just a minute or two longer.

So he always regrets not taking the extra moment in an event he is witnessing. Despite his hearts telling him that he can and it wouldn't change much.

could your muse cut ties with a loved one for the greater good?

It depends on what that "greater good" is.

The Doctor has just genuinely (and at times accidentally) cut off ties with his companions. Whether it was when they leave after being done with traveling with him or whether he drops them back at home (or partially close to home) before he leaves again.

There are moments when he does return for them but, sometimes years have passed or they've passed on already and the Doctor was too late to say a final/proper goodbye.

But to completely cut ties may borderline into memory altercation for himself and/or for the loved one.

"I think every time I step out of the TARDIS challenges my lifespan in some capacity. But even as a Time Lord, I'm not completely and utterly immortal. I have my poisons."

💔Is there anyone from your past that you missed for a long time? 😢Do you still think about people you knew years, even centuries, ago?

"...To both of them. I think about my companions and those I've lost, from my own hand or witnessed losing, every single moment I'm alone. It's a second nature to me. It's too long of a list that I wish wasn't as long as it is. Do I wish I could stop that from happening? Absolutely not."

👶Do you have children? If you don’t, do you think they would be like you?

"..." He's going to abstain from answering the question. Because there was a daughter. There is a granddaughter that he hopes is still out there but hasn't found again yet. There probably was other children too. "I hope that they--they become themselves and not someone like me."

🍼 Would you ever consider having offspring with a mortal?

"No. I don't see myself having any more children with mortals or immortals in this lifetime. It would run the risk as well for them to be used against me in some way/shape/form."
