I cannot stop thinking about the media literacy of twf;
Literally speaking of grief, we can make pain turn into beauty even if it was a horrible situation.
"Bon" is literally the symbol of death. Hares are symbolic of rebirth, meaning, pain+death=resurrection, or new life (either the afterlife or current life) and beauty.
Rosemary Walten mirrors Mary Magdelene, the Lady of Sorrows somehow. Yet she died in the worst way possible, however to the eyes of Bon, he sees it as a transformation of grief and pain into beauty.
This is not a literal death; this is a visual imagination for what if us fans alike and viewers could realise ourselves that we could turn grief and suffering into a new life where there will be no pain and no reminder of what had happened (Wonderland), but at the same time it is difficult as we can still feel the same pain and the forgetfulness does not help with the trauma that's been suppressed (Sophie Walten's amnesia).
Despite the grief and pain, we can still reshape our current life and challenge ourselves through the maws of depression and issues arising in our lives, even if it will be a painstakingly slow effort, but at the end, you will reach to the point your new life will feel free at last.
